Marco Rubio, the leading Republican on the Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform group, made his strongest statement yet that legalization of the nation’s estimated 11 million illegal immigrants must happen before any new border security or internal enforcement measures are in place, and will in no way be conditional on any security requirements.

Rubio uses a terrorist’s tactic... not surprising: he holds the security of the US hostage to his political demands.
He - and the rest of his “gang” - are no better than a terrorist holding a gun to an innocent’s head while hiding behind them.
Rubio will walk this back. He just wanted to get the statement out en espanol. This whole amnesty tap dance is a beltway con job. They almost all want amnesty and are not going to have a better time to pass it. The GOP thinks they can blackmail us with gun control and the kenyan in the White Hut.
Rubio doesn’t want the support of thinking conservatives now. He figures he can hustle some conservatives and add a bunch of Hispanics to his power base. Fine. Not with my vote or support.
It’s a good question, but, really, when a public servant such as he or Roberts succumbs to anything but defending the constitution he (she) is dangerous and worlds less trustworthy than the newest 17 year old Army recruit.

He did that because he recited the entire speech in Spanish immediately prior.

He may as well go ahead and change his affiliation to the Dem Party ... he sure as heck won’t get re-elected on the GOP ticket.
We legalize illegal aliens by shipping them back to their home couuntry. There they are legal.
Their children are shipped back with them. That way they are not subject to US law, and are no longer citizens per the 14th Amendment.
And if we were to give them amnesty, that means they could apply from their home country for US entry/legal immigration. That would put them behind anyone who followed the law.
We don’t need any change in law to resolve the illegal immigrant mess. We just need to enforce the laws we have.
If I was to change the law, I would do away with chain immigration (permitting relatives of immigrants to enter the US legally to reunite the family) and replace it with chain deportation. That would be the careful scrutiny of US citizens with illegal alien relatives, and strippping of citizenship of relatives who provide aid and comfort to illegal aliens.
Just like last time? I’m talking about NO DISCUSSION of AMNESTY until the BORDERS are SECURE.

Rubio is of more use to the Dems as a Republican. So will stay GOP and take millions in bribes from Dems like Zuckerberg.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Rubio already has a deal with the Reid not to run a strong Dem against him in the 2016 FL senate race.
We have been pimped out and sold out down the river by Rubio and the beltway GOP. It is going to be nasty fight to get rid of those stooges.
I would like to think that this BS will never pass the House. I would like to think this is all theater. I would like to think the GOP is smarter than that.
