In a Spanish-language interview Sunday with the network Univision, Sen. Marco Rubio, the leading Republican on the Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform group, made his strongest statement yet that legalization of the nations estimated 11 million illegal immigrants must happen before any new border security or internal enforcement measures are in place, and will in no way be conditional on any security requirements.
Lets be clear, Rubio said. Nobody is talking about preventing the legalization...

So the answer to the immigration problem is to grant amnesty a second time and to say border security comes “mañana.”
Nice knowing you, Marco.
Time to change the road we are on? Force Fed, of course!
Zackly. But man, they sure try hard to have that cake and eat it, too, don't they?
Not yet?
Time is nearly up!
Sleep?
A choice between a clown and a joker? What kind of choice is that???
Glad to see they took some action. /s
Everyone inside the Beltway is in a cocoon. They see nothing, hear nothing, know nothing. They don’t take anything seriously until something affects one of them personally.
Rubio = #1 HUPA on gang of 8.
Why not “Do it Right the First Time”.
I wonder how much he has been paid off in those 2 years.
I can’t WAIT for Mark Levin to get hold of this!!!!
Marco Rubio lied STRAIGHT to Mark’s face, on the air, before Mark’s entire audience.
The 1986 amnesty law is probably a better deal at this point than the Rubio crap sandwich. The Dems hid all kinds of easter eggs in this new bill. It is not just an amnesty bill but vastly increases legal immigration. Who knows what else is in the bill at this point.
Place his picture on rolls of toilet paper to check his polling going forward.
“Can someone freaking explain to me why this is such a damned urgency?”
Simple - demographics.
The GOP “leaders” are convinced that we’ll never win another national election if we don’t staunch the bleeding we have among Hispanics. Ethnic minorities are about to be collectively large enough that a candidate will need to win at least one group decisively to have any chance of election. And we’re losing them all - blacks, Asians, Hispanics, every one.
FWIW, they’re probably right about the problem, but wrong about the solution. As usual.
Whaddajackass
I would say every Senator is exploitable if they have done the slightest inkling of wrong in their careers or private lives...Big Brother will indeed know about it, and will let it be know that "it would be a shame if this came out, Senator". This is hardball. This is the Beltway. It is particularly Alinskian.
No surprise at all, this guy is part of the New World Order gang.
Hey Senator...you support legalization....no more Tea Party support for you....it’s UNCONDITIONAL.
Rubio has crossed the RubiCON with this one. You just have to think that all these guys have been paid off.
Possibly. perhaps he is so out of touch he doesn’t think we would notice? However I have heard Rubio squirm on conservative talk shows. He knows exactly what we think. How would he think we wouldn’t notice something like this? So it’s either he was sloppy or just doesn’t care what we think ... or as you say ... he was trying to sneak it by. whatever the rationale it doesn’t cut it with me
