"New York Republican Rep. Peter King, chairman of the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterintelligence and Terrorism and a member of the Select Committee on Intelligence, said: "If Edward Snowden did in fact leak the NSA data as he claims, the United States government must prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law and begin extradition proceedings at the earliest date. The United States must make it clear that no country should be granting this individual asylum. This is a matter of extraordinary consequence to American intelligence."

Maybe tar and feathers for politicians should come back into vogue, IMHO.
This is a matter of extraordinary consequence to American intelligence.”
.........................................................
It is also a matter of extraordinary consequence to every American who is being spied on despite our Constitutional rights.
Mr. King screw you/
Mr. King - Right after you prosecute Panetta for leaking the Seal Team 6 identities that resulted in their deaths.
King just said on FOX : ... He should have gone to theJustice Department!”...
Right?
King is in major CYA mode!
If he’d gone to the justice department he’d have been found in Fort Marcy Park with 3 suicide bullet wounds to the back of his head.
King, you 0bama, Holder and the rest can go to hell!
Please put me on his jury! Revealing the rogue government that has taken over MY Country deserves a medal, not prosecution!
I hope the guy finds asylum, but will he a lot of governments are corrupt, power-hungry, and invasive?
The first of many whistleblowers, I hope.
I, too, hope there are many more whistleblowers!
I suspect that King, along with many others, has everything to lose if this thing gets traction... he and others have sold their souls for their own comforts and power.
Folks, can I make a point here?
THESE DAYS, WHAT MOSLEM TERRORIST USES HIS HOME PHONE OR HIS PERSONAL VERIZON CELLPHONE ACCOUNT TO PLOT TERRORIST ACTS OR COMMUNICATE WITH HIS FELLOW TERROR-CELL MEMBERS?
At least 10 years ago, even morons started using disposable drop phones purchased for cash at any bodega in the world.
By contract, who DOES use their home phones and personal cell phones?
Patriots. Christians. Jews. Random citizens. Tea Party folks.
The Obama/Marxist definition of terrorist surveillance is SPYING ON, AND PUNISHING AMERICAN CITIZENS.
Hence the IRS persecution of Christian/Jews/TEA.
Hence the domestic spying by NSA.
Remember, Russia warned FBI about the Boston Marathon bomber(s) TWICE, but they didnt give a crap.
The goal here is complete control blackmailing judges and rival politicians.... and citizens when they get uppity.
Thanks, your point is right on.
The reason The Regime has gotten away with so much has been as we know because the media has been gleefully covering Zero’s ass and the lack of whistleblowers. Whereas before the media was in full attack mode 24/7 against Bush and lauded whistleblowers as great Patriot heroes.
The Regime is starting to crack from the intense pressure of it’s crimes, arrogance, corruption and abuses. We need a lot more Snowdens to step forward under the shelter of The People who demand justice and redress of their grievances. Instead of the sneering, snarky, contemptuous, dismissiveness that conservatives have been subjected to until it’s gotten so bad that they simply can no longer maintain a shred of credibility - and still try to carry Obama’s water.
I am from humble means, but if I need to get “uppity,” I most certainly can do it. I will not and have not “sat down” when there is/has been an issue with which must be dealt assertively - to my husband’s proud dismay.
In the not too distant past, King has turned me totally and thoroughly against him. He’s a BIG GOVERNMENT PROGRESSIVE!
