BE HAPPY
"Don't worry. Be happy" I'm sure everyone has heard that song on the radio at one time or another. But I wonder if we ask ourselves, "Are we happy?" I don't mean that we should be constantly ecstatic or exuberant, but HAPPY full of that deep down inner contentment which persists even in the midst of trials and tribulations? Because we are the children of God, God is concerned and cares for us. Whatever our real needs, we can rest assured that God will fulfill them, albeit in His own time and accordance with His will. But we can live in thankfulness to God. We can allow His presence and peace to make us serene and secure in our relationship with Him. Whether we are rich or poor, on the mountain or in a deep valley, experience gladness and good health or sorrow and pain, He is walking beside us, helping us along our way. We are forever, and can celebrate our identity, as His sons and daughters. CAPT John W. Morrison, CHC, USN

Only in Alaska. A bear climbed the fence surrounding the flight line this morning on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson JBER (official). He had to be reminded that... bears are not permitted to sit on fences around the runway, it is a secure area. That's why there are fences. Photo courtesy of James P. Carini.

Oh my.
The bear looks like he lost his bearings.
LOL.

Sunday Morning Coffee Bump.
Had some storms move through early this morning with some winds. Thankfully we didn't lose power here in Comanche but some other places like Walters and Grandfield and parts of Lawton lost power.
Bo saw a baby and parent dear at the lake yesterday. The parent dear ran off but Bo barked at the Baby dear. It was funny to watch. ((LOL))

Do you now have to unload and stack? It is loaded with 8’ logs so the guy getting them helps unload. Lots of Beetle kill around here.

Busy day wrangling bears.

Made us even more thankful that my Dad had a reasonably quick road to passing. Folks today are fond of saying that God doesn't give us more than we can handle, with His help. But we sometimes wonder just how much He's going to ask us to handle! If you step back and look at things, you realize that there are so very many lessons to take away from our experiences caring for and comforting loved ones; and sharing with them with others. He has a way of influencing so many different people through us!

LORD REMEMBER NOT ALL OUR WICKEDNESSES
HERR GEDENKEN NICHT UNSER ÜBELTHATEN Felix Mendelssohn (Click)
Herr gedenke nicht unsere Übelthaten, und erbarme dich unsere Elends. Herr, der du unser Heiland best, stehe uns bei, Erlösen uns und vergieb uns unsere Sünden, um der Herrlichkeit deines Names willen. Hallelujah, hallelujah!
Lord, remember not all our wickednesses, but in mercy, Lord, look thou upon us. Lord, our Savior blest, send Salvation! And release us and forgive us our transgressions for the majesty of thy glorious Namesake. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

Glad you get help unloading.
We have LOTS of beetle kill, but the Feds won’t let us harvest it. So it gets dry and provides a tremendous amount of fuel for wildfires. Stupid Feds/EPA/Etc!!
