I don’t agree with the bill, not even the framework, but I wish people would not trash Rubio.

Marco showed incredible stupidity in getting involved with Schumer in the first place, I will always question his judgement now.

I haven’t trashed him in public, but you really should have seen the email I sent him. It smoked.

Rubio has been horrible on this issue. Truly horrible. He’s damn good on nearly everything else. As a Florida constituent, I am not going to throw Rubio under the bus...at least not yet. He can come out of this okay if he exits the gang correctly or proposes a reasonable alternative that gets rid of the amnesty and strengthens the border enforcement.

If he continues to push this crap sandwich all the way through the senate, he deserves whatever is thrown at him.

...I wish people would not trash Rubio"

He was wrong to go along with any scheme that does not stop the invasion of the US first. But I've been defending him, kind of. I've said he is who he is, and it seems he's hispanic first and a US citizen second. That being said, I think he can learn how we conservatives feel about people coming to the US honestly and legally.

I think he was played by Schummer and McCain. Their primary goal, more than even destroying the integrity of US citizenship and residency, was to stop conservative, articulate, and intelligent Rubio. Rubio was played.

That being said, I'm not one trashing him. Rubio is intelligent, he's passionate about making things better, and he could bring the US in a good direction. But he can't be naive or stupid about the intentions of those who will do anything to continue the destruction of the US.

but I wish people would not trash Rubio.

No need to trash him as he's done a thorough job of trashing himself by joining this latest Democrat ruse to try and grant amnesty to 15 - 20 million illegal aliens. Almost everything about this latest amnesty ruse has been deceitful and dishonest, and especially those absurd radio ads Rubio participated in that have run for weeks.

I live in Florida and i voted for him. I won’t trash him but i wont vote for him for US Senate again...or certainly if he gets nomination for higher office
He got into office..traded in his conservative street creds and joined the establishment E GOP
I have no problem with that...I merely wont vote for them
If that means nothing but Democrats get elected..thats fine with me..
I sleep well at night because the lesser of evils is still evil and Marco Rubio either lied to us..or was naive.
I dont really give a rip he had his shot..i voted for him..i wont vote for him again...EVER!

Rubio deserves to be ‘trashed’ (your word, not mine).
He exhibited very poor judgement in aligning himself with the likes of Schumer. The sooner he disavows this insanity the better.

Would you have said the same about Vidkun Quisling if you were a Norwegian in the 1940s? Face it, Rubio BETRAYED us. I’m not sure there is ever forgiveness for Treason.

Yes...he's my senator and I am PROUD....

He is the worst, most deceptively craven and cowardly hypocrite among the Republicans in the Senate.

Maybe he shouldn't have his name associated with all those shameless false-flag radio spots pushing the "conservative" immigration reform bill.

Rubio supported and helped frame it, and stood by while his Gang of 8 comrades trashed opponents of the bill (Conservatives).

He is not an innocent bystander, but a willing accomplice.

He’s performed as the worst, most disastrous GOP Senator in years—that’s how important and dangerous his amnesty bill is—and we’re not supposed to condemn him for it?

Yea, your right. It's just our country and all. Hope his feelings didn't get hurt.

Sorry, don't mean to be snarky, but folks are just plain damn fed-up with Congress.

How do you feel about Rubio taking money from Democrats and trashing conservatives in radio ads? He has been willfully dishonest about what is in the bill. He deserves every bit of criticism he has been getting.

I agree, we should not trash Rubio, he already has trashed himself, and trying now to slither away from the sluts of 8 group so he can say he had no part in this.

Screw Rubio as he has tried to screw us.

>> I don’t agree with the bill, not even the framework, but I wish people would not trash Rubio.

I’m failing to understand the logic of your statement.

Can you explain it?

My view: we didn’t “love” Rubio because he’s some inherently divine being — we “loved” him because he was a CONSERVATIVE LEGISLATOR consistently advancing conservative principles through consistent conservative actions.

When he STOPS doing those things for which we admired him — as with this country-destroying amnesty legislation joke — we STOP admiring him. I damn sure do, anyway. Unashamedly.

Can you set me straight as to why that isn’t the intelligent course of action?
