(CNN) – Susan Rice, United States ambassador to the United Nations, will replace Tom Donilon as President Barack Obama's national security adviser, a senior administration official said Wednesday.

Rice is to cover and hide data and facts. Donilon will leave and fall on his sword if required.

I think the Donilon “resignation” is more interesting than the Susan Rice appointment.

Could it be this is pre-emptive, and that Donilon will be fingered as the fall guy for Benghazi, because, well, Obama was AWOL on Sept 11, and Donilon may have to take the heat for the stand-down decisions?
