NYT: White House Wants Holder to Resign

Presidential aides are privately admitting to a growing frustration inside the White House with Attorney General Eric Holder’s political ineptness in the press leak investigations and are hoping the embattled appointee will resign from office, The New York Times reports.

“The White House is apoplectic about him, and has been for a long time,” said an anonymous Democrat source, identified only as a former government employee who acknowledged the White House staffers in question are his friends.

President Barack Obama’s advisers are frustrated with Holder’s inability to foresee problems arising from his approval of a subpoena naming a Fox News reporter as a coconspirator in an espionage investigation. Now Congress is looking at whether Holder lied under oath when he testified last month that he knew nothing about the incident.

IF for some reason holder is let go, rumor here in MA is that the dem communist HUSSEIN clone gov deval patrick, who btw has multiple scandals of his own, will replace holder.

Or does Obama want Holder just to go away, without the requirement for Obama to make a command decision and FIRE the man. Is Obama that wishy-washy? Or is he afraid of setting a precedent by firing the first black attorney general?

If he does, will Holder spill the beans?

Is Holder scheduled to take a group of Chamber of Commerce types or Bar Association members on a flight to the Dubrovnik airport?

There is nothing that this government does that is for the people anymore. Nothing it does that is apolitical. It is corrupt and longer able to be made uncorrupt. It is time for a divorce, and freedom loving people should re-form a new constitutional representative government, strengthened from what we have learned from this failure of an experiment.

If the White House truly wanted Holder to resign, then Obama would simply ask for his letter of resignation. If that letter of resignation were not forthcoming, then Obama could simply fire Holder. Really, it’s that simple.

We all know that Obama doesn’t know anything about anything, so how could he even know that Holder has perjured himself before Congress or that he targeted a journalist who was reporting sensitive information that Obama might not have known? I’d be stunned if he resigned, unless after talking to Obama’s lawyers, he realized he’d have a hit put out on him if he didn’t resign.

Obama is all about Obama, but without Holder, he wouldn’t have gotten anywhere near as far as he has gotten now. Holder is the enforcement arm and I don’t know who else Bambi could get for that job.
