HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE: WH IGNORED SUGGESTED REFORMS WORTH $67 BILLION
Breitbart ^ | June 1, 2013 | By Kerry Picket

In addition to leaving Inspector General posts at key agencies vacant, a March 5 report from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform claims the Obama administration has ignored 16,906 recommendations from 73 agency OIG’s that could potentially save taxpayers $67 billion per year.

“This report chronicles $67 billion in unimplemented reforms that non-partisan Inspectors General have identified,” said Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R–CA). “President Obama should listen to the recommendations of his Administration’s own Inspector Generals and work with Congress to implement common sense spending cuts that target wasteful and poorly performing programs instead of settling for the furloughs and service disruptions happening under the sequester.”

Now, now. We wouldn’t want to cut those obamaphones out of the hands of the needy. The troops in Afghanistan will just have to do without breakfast & hot meals. /s

These guys are on a mission to Destroy. They wouldn’t ignore such an opportunity — they would purposefully choose not to take advantage of it. Saving money or cutting spending does not further their goals in any way.

The socialists have been waging economic war on conservatives for 50+ years. It has cost many of us life and health.

Time for a reset.

If everyone payed taxes at the same rate on the same day of the year, we would have the most responsive, efficient, (and much smaller) government on Earth!

It therefore, can never happen.

State, DHS and USAID ranked 1st, 2nd and 4th with most unimplemented recommendations, all still have IG vacancies .

What a coincidence and it'll probably stay that way.

Back to drawing board, fellas. Report back when you’ve found a way to cut the budget by $690 Billion, NOT $69 Billion.

“The troops in Afghanistan will just have to do without breakfast & hot meals. /s”...

I realize this was stated in sarcasim but how would one go about starting a “relief fund” with all funding be directed to food for the troops in question. Simply, go around the gubmint. This needs to be addressed and I personally do not know how to go about it.
