I see what you are saying, but, this is so absurd. They are saying that the visitor logs are not reliable records of who has visited the White House? Really? They expect their allies in the media to believe this?? And repeat this in the news with a straight face???
I find it hard to believe that repeating the lie that the White House visitor records are not reliable will really refute any legitimate GOP questions. Then again, I’m not liberal, so I can’t make sense out of any of this.

So the log bog is more of a suggestion book. Why keep log books if they are not in fact logs. That is sort of the whole freaking point of a log!

So, if next week there was an assault on the White House by bad guys, security staff would have no idea how to account for who was present? Say it was a movie-type helo assault that kidnapped a couple of cabinet secretaries. If security didn’t have a method to instantly know who was there, how would they know who was missing?
At fire drills in my 1950s elementary school, the first thing the teacher did was compare her attendance records to the nose count. Guess that’s too tricky for the White House.
Remember in the Clinton days it was referred to as “a bureaucratic snafu.”
