I see what you are saying, but, this is so absurd. They are saying that the visitor logs are not reliable records of who has visited the White House? Really? They expect their allies in the media to believe this?? And repeat this in the news with a straight face???
I find it hard to believe that repeating the lie that the White House visitor records are not reliable will really refute any legitimate GOP questions. Then again, I’m not liberal, so I can’t make sense out of any of this.
It doesn’t matter all that much to me why they get put in jail. It can be for treason and corruption or for dereliction of duty and incompetence in maintaining proper records. They got Al Capone on tax evasion (and I’m actually beginning to feel some sympathy for that), so let’s jail Zippy for incompetence and lying.
