Trust you had an enjoyable weekend...
it is. It is a piece of utter garbage as is Cosmopolitan
This is quite funny.
At least when Vanity Fair had Christopher Hitchens on staff, they had one literate and articulate drunk.
Hitchens was the only reason to ever read Vanity Fair, which has long served as the journal of wealthy East Coast socialites who worship at the altar of power and celebrity.
A casual visit to the magazine reveals an editorial appeal to those who wallow in a shallow pretentiousness that seeks to validate their assumed superiority, while immersing themselves in the decadence that today both informs and defines the present worlds of entertainment and fashion.
It is a magazine written for those who crave summer in the Hamptons, winter in Aspen, and any conveniently proffered opportunity to peer down their rhinoplastic enhancements at the rest of America.
