Springstein, Midler, and Streisand are admittedly talented performers (although Bruce was much better when he was a hungry young singer performing 4-hour concerts when he was in his 20s and early 30s). As for the others, it's not hard to boycott such sucky singers.

That said, I'm glad you don't have Willie Nelson on this list.

There are only 2 songs on my iPod from among these 10 artists:
1. “Do You Wanna Dance” by Bette Midler
2. “Missing” by Bruce Springsteen from the Sean Penn film, The Crossing Guard
...and somewhat like the musicality of “People” by Babs, but not enough to spring for 99 cents.
