Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul announced Friday he will be on ballots in November 2016, but he told voters in his home state that they might be the only ones with a chance to vote for him.

Keep shilling for amnesty, Rand, and that might well be the case.

Do the Republicans have anybody to run in 2016? It’s early but I’m getting concerned already. We cannot afford to run another stiff or a washed-up “my turn” old man like a Dole or McCain.

I stay away from libertarians of any stripe.

He won’t get my vote.

Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, __________?

Jeb Bush, Chris Christi

The first four would present themselves as conservative, whether or not they are. But again, we have a possible field that would split conservative votes and allow blue state Republican primary voters to pick our candidate.

Conservatives and non-RINOs need to settle on one or two conservative candidates before the primaries, or we’ll have another RINO.

Hubris. Wanton, unabashed hubris. Get yourself elected Governor of Kentucky for a term. You might be ready to run for POTUS afterwards.

He's been in the Senate what, a year and a half?

I have a suspicion that he will be like his Daddy and run every 4 years.

Some of his talk does sound pretty good, and his filibuster made waves.

He is more preferable than JebB, Christie, Rubio, Ryan.

Nah. Looking for someone who did not support Romney. In the end, they are all Republicans. Maybe a third party conservative who will restore America’s economy and end world policeman role.

The only way the GOP will ever manage to sway me back into the fold is via Palin, Cruz, or someone strongly in that clean-government, reformer vein... someone who would be willing to actually tackle the whole corrupt system, the “professional political class,” the money-drenched nexus of government-media-big business. The whole repellent cesspool. Someone that will give Karl Rove and the scumbag GOP-E nightmares.

Not only Rand will have problems with his pro-Amnesty stand....a lot of his supporters were also his Dad’s supporters...and they are PO’d with Rand for supporting Romney before his Dad dropped out of the ‘12 race.

The GOP will have to run a conservative in the primary to keep that seat....Rand will not get the support like he did his last run

My preferences:

1) Ted Cruz
2) Sarah Palin
3) Rand Paul

No RINO Rubio, no RINO Ryan, no fatass Christie, no RINO Jeb!

"For now, (what) we know for sure is we're going to run for the U.S. Senate," he said...

Speaking of oneself in the plural is a real turn-off to me. He just got to Congress and his head is already growing.

Cruz would be my first choice, but if he doesn’t run and Rand does vs what? Rubio? Jeb? KristiKreme? I’ll stand with Rand, absolutely.

Only a non-white has a chance to beat the democrats/socialists

Niki Haley
Cruz
Cain
Susan Martinez

Maybe a woman has a chance
Palin

Republicans have only run a white male for Prezident . Democrats and the media play identity politics.

The news media will try to choose the GOP candidate another white male they can beat
