We have a message for Attorney General Holder over at http://huffingtonpost.com, read a message from the Huffington Post political Twitter account earlier this evening.
The website's home page is one big splash calling for Eric Holders exit from the Obama administration, suggesting that the news reported earlier by NBC News was the final straw for liberals who are critical of Obamas attorney general.
NBC News Michael Isikoff reported that Holder signed off on the search warrant that identified Fox News reporter James Rosen as a possible co-conspiratorauthorizing seizure of his private emails.
The Huffington Post page also highlights Holders record on banks, marijuana, mortgage settlements, drones and the prosecution of Aaron Swartz.

In defense of Eric Holder, he’s merely following his superior’s orders.

There was an astute poster here that said right away as soon as the LT Gov resigned he knew Holder was about to go and Patrick was going to be put in his place.

They will sacrifice anyone to save Obama.
Obama too arrogant to follow that advice.
And he can probably get away with it.

Isn’t there anyone in the DoJ who’s already scheduled to retire in the next couple weeks, whom they can ask to resign instead?

They haven’t woken up at all. They’re finally figuring out that once the shoe drops, we will be holding THEM AND the LEFTIST media responsible for putting this bunch of Marxists in power.
This is a total CYA move.

You know, if the HuffPo, which lives in Obozo’s pants, is calling for Holder’s resignation, it doesn’t mean anything good for America.
I think Holder was due to leave his position quite soon anyway, so now he can just do it a little earlier. Same with Lois Lerner. Let them both disappear with their pensions intact, and claim that this satisfies the demands for accountability. All done!
