The streams emerging from beneath an Arctic glacier are several degrees warmer than the icy water Alaskas Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski has tossed on a Tea Party groups effort to draft former Gov. Sarah Palin as a U.S. Senate candidate in 2014.
Reviving one of Alaskas great political feuds, Murkowski told The Hill newspaper in Washington, D.C.:
I think there are a lot of outside interests that would like to see Sarah Palin in some form of elected office. Most in Alaska recognize our former governor is rally not involved in or engaged in the state anymore, that shes moved to other interests. In order to represent the state, youve got to be in the state.

A little photo editing is always needed to give Murky a "smile."

When one has to resort to sleight of hand to win an election one has to wonder how creidble such a person’s advice could possibly be.

Taken on its merits, Murkowski's observation is reasonable. How do you run for the Senate in Alaska while living in Arizona. Makes no sense, and AFAIK Palin herself has made no move to set up a run. Much ado about nothing.

WTH does she know where Gov Palin is or is not spending the bulk of her time???

Palin for Senate, but not for president.

I am no fan of Murkowski, but isnt she bringing up a valid point about Palins residency? Shes been living in Arizona for a couple years, hasnt she?
Plenty of wet, white cold......sand(??) in Arizona?
Sarah Palin: One last blast of Alaska winter today, hopefully? This is what Grad Blast means in Alaska! Well move our graduation b-b-q indoors and watch the mini-blizzard from round the fireplace. (Global warming my gluteus maximus.) Congratulations to this years graduates all across America. Job well done. Now the real job begins.

Sarah got no help form the republicans when she was being sued out of office. One demRat sued her 19 times and lost all but it cost Sarah $millions which the state would not help with.

Sarah should run for office in Arizona, anyway. I can think of a couple of US Senators here who need replacing... In all honesty, that seems more viable. Once McCain retires, she could make a run for that seat. It'd be a HUGE improvement.

While you are correct and she would have to move back there to run, she’s would not be a carpetbagger in the real sense of the word. I don’t think anybody would have any doubt about her being a real Alaskan.

Murkugly lives in DC and dances with the aristocrats.
Sarah has friends, family and roots in Alaska. She will always have Alaska in her heart and mind.
