Shopping Cart Guy.
Guy, family, dogs got in closet. Everything leveled, but they all survived. He said the shopping cart, what he has his 2 dachshunds in, is his home for the night.

All children at Briarwood Elementary School have been accounted for. No statement as to any injuries. Teachers worked a miracle. Just reported on local KWTV.

I guess that is how a tornado works, the movie theater, not a scratch..but it destroyed two schools..I have no idea how this works or how a tornado picks and chooses what to destroy and what to not harm..its just so tragic..they interviewed the man who lost his farm, lost 75-100 horses..he was crying but still through all that, said that his faith is keeping him strong..what a wonderful man God Bless him

I don't expect to see anything here on the sane (west) side of the Metroplex until after 8pm, and then later, for cells to start back-building. It may be a long night.

Yes, a traumatic event like a tornado will do that.
After you been through one it will shake you up, and in need of a stiff drink even if you don't drink.

Looks like Granbury/Cleburne and Ft Worth Area will be under the gun again within the next few hours. Strong cells heading that way from the SW.

It's the ones that haven't formed yet that I'm worried about. I've seen cells keep forming until 11 or 12pm this time of year.

Tornadoes are so unpredictable, never know when they are going to hit.
What is more frightening is being in a upstairs room in the middle of the night when one hits.
We had one hit our area out of the blue with no warning, one minute ? nothing, and in a few seconds ? heavy winds.
