Former Baylor women’s basketball star Brittney Griner, who acknowledged she was gay in an interview with SI.com’s Maggie Gray last month, said Bears coach Kim Mulkey told her not to be open publicly about her sexuality because it would hurt recruiting, according to ESPN.com.

I never watch NBA, I do watch WNBA once in a while because What they play is more like the BB that I like.

I’m a big basketball fan but I stopped watching the WNBA years ago. Their season competes with too many other sports plus it’s in the summer time to get a big following.

With her voice, that of a 40 year old baritone, the first time I heard her talk with my back to the TV, I thought it was a man speaking. I never would have guessed she was gay. /S
