The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.
Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today.
Her successor, Joseph Grant, is taking the fall for misdeeds at the scandal-plagued unit between 2010 and 2012. During at least part of that time, Grant served as deputy commissioner of the tax-exempt unit.

Who needs railcars and gas chambers to eliminate undesirables when you have Sarah Hall Ingram?
What an excellent headline. That’s the end of ObamaKKKare. All that remains are the details of taking it down.
House repeals it if and only if they defund it, at this point in history. Nice they can voted this way, but they haven’t voted to repeal it which implies they can’t.
Olds from District C(rime)
It should be interesting to see how the top democrat candidate for governor in Michigan runs since Obamacare was his signature vote for his single term.
The democrat running for Levin’s seat is trying to sound conservative all of a sudden too.
bttt
You already did and it realy is.
“House Republicans voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act in its entirety, in a 229 to 195 vote largely along partisan lines.”
You mean, there are 424 Republicans in the House, and 195 of them were against repeal? The House voted. 229 of the Representatives, mostly Republican, voted for repeal. 195, mostly Democrats, voted against. MSM nitwits.
But seriously, folks. Even if it passes the Senate, Obama will veto it, and there aren’t enough votes for an override. So it’s a nice gesture, but so what.
Exactly. THis vote is completely meaningles, and they KNOW it.
Like.
They need to continue to make nice gestures, because I’ve been making some not so nice gestures since March 2010 when this obamanation demon passed.
I see all these posts but no vote tally
229-195
I want them to keep doing it until the Senate FINALLY relents. And now is as a good a time as any. No one can deny that 0 abuses powers he doesn’t have, leave alone giving him this.
Dear Lord, guide our course.

Yes, but it’s a meaningless gesture. If they were serious, they would de-fund it.
Republicans love big government just as much as Democrats do, they just pretend they don’t in order to win elections and delude the sheeple into thinking we really do have 2 distinct political parties.
yep, this is good - not earth shaking, but good. They are getting Dems on record for the 2014 mid terms.
Exactly. Hope their butts get voted out! Even the unions are getting taxed out the wazoo for obamacare! That isn’t good!
They should have voted to repeal Romneycare while they were at it.
What a stupid waste of time.
