CNNs Drew Griffin broke into Wolf Blitzers Newsroom report Wednesday afternoon to reveal new information about the investigation into the IRS admission that they targeted conservatives during the 2012 election year.
Griffin said a Congressional source told him that the acting commissioner of the IRS, Steven Miller, has identified two rogue employees in the agencys Cincinnati office, who he characterized as off the reservation. The commissioner reportedly said the two, as yet unnamed, employees were principally responsible for overly aggressive handling of Tea Party requests for tax exempt status over the past two years. Another source, according to Griffin, said that Miller confirmed that two employees have already been disciplined.
I suspect a lot of Republicans, especially, but there are a bunch of Democrats outraged by this as well, Blitzer said, are going to suggest this may just be the tip of the iceberg, if you will. Theyre going to want to see who else could be implicated in this.

We should remember the tone for this administration was set
in April, 2009 when Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano stated that “Right Wing Extremists” posed a national security threat.
These so called “Right Wing Extremists” were comprised of returning vets, pro life advocates, pro marriage advocates, etc.,etc., And, as a result of these policies, the organizations were put on a watch list by the Department of Homeland Security.
The American Family Assoc, Religious Freedom Coalition, Georgia Christian Alliance and other groups took out full page ads in the Washington Times demanding an apology from Napolitano for smearing their organizations. (I doubt they ever got it.)
Fast forward to approximately 2010, when all of a sudden, “Conservative” groups were put on a watch list of the IRS. The main difference in “Right Wing Extremists” is now they are called “Conservatives”.Somehow I don’t think it is a coincidence that two key departments of the Administration adopted the same policies that would harass and harangue those folks they did not agree with.
It is difficult for me to believe that the beaurocratic nightmares of the IRS could have been pulled off by a couple of rogue agents.
However, despite the claim of just two employees being involved, FOX19 has exclusively learned from two separate sources that there could be at least four Cincinnati employees involved.
Those four employees — whose names we have chosen to withhold until they have been officially confirmed — Have each worked in the IRS Exempt Organizations Department.
This is the same department that has admitted publicly to sending letters to Tea Party and other conservative organizations.
One of FOX19’s two sources went on say that these four IRS workers claim “they simply did what their bosses ordered”. Keep in mind, as FOX19 reported on Tuesday, the report by the Office of Inspector General states that senior IRS officials knew agents were targeting Tea Party groups as early as 2011.
In fact, according to that report, Lois Lerner who heads the IRS division that oversees tax exempt organizations, was told on June 29, 2011 that groups with ‘Tea Party’, ‘Patriot’ or ‘9/12 Project’ in their names were being flagged for additional, and often burdensome, scrutiny.
While the IRS is pointing at ‘two rogue employees’, the number of organizations that were singled out has swelled to nearly 500, according to Rep. Congressmen Darryl Issa and Ohio’s Jim Jordan.
FOX News is also reporting that at least two Cincinnati agents have been subpoenaed to testify before congress on Monday.

“For some reason CNN wants to make us think it was just the center at Cincy.”
Whatever keeps Benghazi from the headlines....
Sure it was. It was Nixon defining moment and will be Obama defining moment. Someone is going to ask it and the media will cover it.
The folks at CNN are stenographers for elite democrats - they're not real news people. Which is why they were unable to logic their way through this... (dems didn't feed them a 'take' on the issue)
Well ... we know there’s at least 500 entries on Obama’s “Enemies List” and one of them isn’t Ayman al Zawahiri.
