Full Title - "Carney: White House notified of IRS targeting tea party ‘several weeks ago;’ Obama: I found out Friday [VIDEO]"
White House press secretary Jay Carney said in a press conference Tuesday that the White House was notified about the IRS targeting tea party groups “several weeks ago.” This comes a day after President Obama said he found out about it from news reports on Friday of last week.
During a press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron on Monday, President Obama was asked about the IRS scandal. He responded, ”I first learned about it from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this. I think it was on Friday.”
However, Carney said Tuesday that first a report had to be compiled by the IRS’s inspector general and then when it was completed, it was passed on to the administration.
“A notification is appropriate and routine and that is what happened and that happened several weeks ago,” Carney said.
Carney said the White House will not make a formal statement until a complete IG report is released.
Carney said later in the press conference that although the White House was notified “weeks ago” about the IRS investigaton, neither he nor the president were notified individually.

So, the White House is notified that the IRS has committed the same behavior that was included in the articles of impeachment drafted against Nixon and nobody thought it was important enough to give Obama a heads up. And I'm supposed to believe that?

Can you imagine the screaming going on in Carneys hidden ear microphone when he said that. President Jarrett must have been livid.
The reason leftists are impervious to facts that undermine their ideology is that their own sense of personhood and “goodness” is all wrapped up in that ideology and worldview.
They would basically be committing psychological suicide to allow a challenge to their worldview.
Consider a worse possibility; Both are true statements.
The 'White House' was advised (i.e. lower level people in the WH) several weeks ago and no one told the President.
These clowns are so incompetent, that I could envision that scenario as being true.

Maybe Carney found out a couple of weeks ago and..well shucks...you know, he just plain forgot to mention it to the President.

I think Juan Williams acts as he does because Fox wants him to be a foil for the on air food fights. Of course, it comes easy to Williams because he’s also a racist.
As far as liberals being unable to access the truth, I can see it. I would have never believed it possible, until it happened here in the US.
Yep, it’s pretty bad when the only viable option for Obama to claim he isn’t in on the corruption is to claim he’s so breathtakingly incompetent that he’s oblivious to it.
