Look at Juan Williams. The left completely turned on him. His career would be over if not for FOX News. And he STILL bends himself up in a pretzel trying to defend the indefensible acts of the left.

The reason leftists are impervious to facts that undermine their ideology is that their own sense of personhood and “goodness” is all wrapped up in that ideology and worldview.
They would basically be committing psychological suicide to allow a challenge to their worldview.

I think Juan Williams acts as he does because Fox wants him to be a foil for the on air food fights. Of course, it comes easy to Williams because he’s also a racist.
As far as liberals being unable to access the truth, I can see it. I would have never believed it possible, until it happened here in the US.
I suspect Juan Williams’s defense of Obama et al at this point is at least partially on account of his knowing that Fox will have no use for him if he criticizes Obama. Fox needs somebody they can point to as reliably liberal and they need somebody to say stupid things to get their other guests and hosts all riled up.
