the IRS may have been casting an even wider net, and agents could have unfairly targeted groups that touted better government economic policy and debt pay-down. Also among the targeted: Groups that tried to educate about the Constitution or government policy critics
...
at least one congressional member has wondered: What about Obamacare? Do critics of Obamacare face extra layers of IRS scrutiny, also?

I’m sure all those things are coming -
basically, if you oppose leftism, you’re going to be targeted.
FLASHBACK:

Saying he wanted to address “the little controversy everyone was talking about a few weeks back,” Obama said, “we all learned an important lesson.”
“I learned to never again pick another team over the Sun Devils in my NCAA bracket,” he said, referring to the school’s basketball team. “It won’t happen again.”
“President [Michael] Crow and the board of regents will soon learn all about being audited by the IRS,” he joked.
Sorry to burst Republicans’ bubble, but the IRS was the brainchild of international banking.
The reporting of income creates a net from which ordinary Americans can escape, while international banking - having crafted the rules - is typically able to avoid the bulk of Income Tax.
Of course, the income tax collected by the Federal government is then spent according to the wishes of international banking.
International banking’s American office is Wall Street, so basically every publicly-held corporation is open to having its directorships filled with its minions, and this is true in most cases.
When Congress overspends (either on Federal employees, handouts to voters, or the businesses that international banking runs which generate hundreds of billions in annual sales), the money it borrows is arranged by Wall Street. The great threat posed to politicians is that if a Wall Street firm collapses, those Treasury bonds might not sell, thus the spending in Congressional districts would have to stop.
The great secret that international banking keeps on pain of death is that the Treasury need not borrow from them, but can simply print its own money, with which it could pay off existing bonds and spend as it wished. If too much were printed, there would be a public outcry, so the overspending would be much better controlled than in the current situation, where the Federal Reserve creates the money under a veil of secrecy, as well as a great deal of confusion about money versus debt, etc.
None of this is specific to the Obama administration or even Democrats.
Republican and Democrat politicians continue to have not only the Federal government, but also State and local governments borrow like there’s no tomorrow.
This lines the pockets of international banking, which deals in the “market” of government debt, uses it as collateral, etc., while simultaneously enslaves the population that does not have its own tax-exempt foundations and offshore corporations with the prospect of nothing but more taxes and less handouts for them.
This problem is NOT ONLY passed on to our children - that is disinformation designed to induce us to IGNORE it. The problem is OURS, as it WILL affect our own retirement, which is slated to be in the misery of abject poverty.
The IRS’s PHONY”Mea Culpa”happened because they know there’s a whole lot of SH*T that’s going to hit the fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the hotlink!
The article starts off fine, and even mentions crime and punishment.
However, the author then promotes the sorry, same only PC crap of “everybody is a victim, so let us make sure that this crime never happens again.”
The author then concludes with the Zombie Obamanation crap:
“It therefore falls to the relevant oversight committees in the House and the Senate to flush out the truth of this matter, and to recommend legislative reforms to bring this outlaw agency to heel.”
These are hardened criminals! They will NEVER be “brought to heel!”
Passing a new “Law” is meaningless to hardened criminals in Government!
The Obamanation Administration is filled with hardened criminals who have have NO respect for the US Constitution or ANY of the laws derived from it.
Hard jail time is the ONLY punishment that will be an effective partial solution to partially protecting us from future crimes committed by those “dedicated public servants” who are paid by taxpayers to govern us.

“Schulman was Bush appointee...its possible he was out of the loop”
Leftist freaks, unlike Bush, tend to clean house after election, so if they left a Bush appointee in office, it’s because he was already pwned.
Somebody is dumping IRS chum into the water to draw the media sharks away from good ship Benghazi.
It won’t work.
The same people are responsible for both.
Someone’s getting desperate.
This must be one of the only moves they have left.
Soviet-based tactics. This is how they were able to pack Red Square with wildly cheering citizens every year. This is why North Korean citizens’ “love” their dear leader so much.
“This goes straight to the top.”
Yep. And at the top is an untouchable black commie with
race card in hand. Soon it will be said “Only racist are
anti-communism”.
If the RINOs screw this one up, they are obviously not on our team.

The IRS must be dealt with.
The major problem here is that we need a proper, Conservative, Constitutionalist government.
Dealing with the IRS major problem would be easily accomplished.
Fire everyone connected with this evil octopus and then yank out the telephone wires, trash the computers, board up the buildings and offer them up for sale.
YUP!
...and I want my money back!
You can't post @ ZH, because that's like shipping coal to Newcastle. It's not like the thousands of readers there don't know exactly what you're talking about. Boring, old news.
Then there is FR, which is firmly ensconced in the throws of 'conservative porn', and will not look past cheering for the red team. Take a look at the comments all extolling the GOP's possible advantage. All off which will come to naught, other than to string along another generation of Charlie Browns once again trying to kick the football.
The solution is to keep it to yourself. Now that you know the truth, you don't need to muck around in disinformation. Use this knowledge to your advantage - attempting to reach others is either unneeded or ignored.
Well aren’t you the perfect example of an arrogant, self-righteous, condescending prick!
Granted.
How? I mean how can you use the information to your advantage?
Knowing the wolf is hunting you is better than not knowing, but when you are food it is to be assumed.
Like the helping of Hasan and the Cole terrorists,
like the weaponizing of narcoterrorists in Fast and Furious,
like the benGhazi murder setup and coverup,
like the coverup of voter fraud and black on white crime,
this, too, was soley due to .... George Bush."
How much was added to the budget to employ IRS prosecutors? There were a huge number of IRS investigators/prosecutors who were going to be added. Was that to enforce Obamacare? When were those additional IRS employees funded?
