Actually, I read that Boehner came out in favor of a select committee yesterday. I don’t think he’s taken any steps in that direction, but today’s WH stunt should certainly encourage him.
The WH wouldn’t even do something like this unless they were guilty, guilty, guilty. And they and everybody else knows it. I’m actually a little surprised that they took the chance of showing it. I guess that’s what hubris looks like.
