They did their job. The election is over. Yeah, now they’re sorry.
Where was the oversight? Who - exactly - was responsible? This wasn’t some arcane law being interpreted, or some confusing new law, this was willful, spiteful political hardball deliberately played.
Who ordered it? Who oversaw it? Who allowed it to continue? How was it “discovered”? Why was it “discovered” only after the fact?
Is there evil in a government agency which has the power to punish people who disagree with the government? Only if you truly believe in truth, justice, the American way of life and God. I’d say that that list of attributes would definitely put you on the “kill” list. There is a major political “tug of war” not too far down the road that this country is treading. My only prayer is that the “good” people of this country prevail and that those who would destroy us be vanquished.

Who directed the IRS to do this? I’m sure the excuse will be that some “rogue” employees did this on their own.

Henceforthy apply as “Party To Promote Obama” and then file a DBA (Doing Business As) for fundraising. I think that would work but check with an attorney or something.
What are the possibilities for the offended Tea Party and/or groups to sue the IRS in federal court for violation of First Amendment and federal statutory rights, given the obvious fact that the IRS engaged in deliberate retaliation for the groups' political views? ( Bivens action?)
