Did the RNC make a big mistake last fall? A new report by ABC News Jonathan Karl has many conservatives seeing red.
Johnatha Karl, ABC News, reports that this ad was put together by the RNC last fall but was scrapped at the last minute because of objections from the Romney campaign, which was concerned the ad would distract from Romneys efforts to focus on the economy.
Regardless of whether or not the Romney campaign actually played a role in the RNCs final decision, many conservatives are frustrated and angry with the RNC for keeping the ad buried at a time when the American public needed to know the truth: ...

RNC is out looking for their gonads like the Congress, IMO.
Why? Beltway insiders who are completely out of touch with middle America Conservatives.
I hope ABC succeeds in dividing conservatives away from Rinos, and that desperate himhope comes from someone who has preached time and again that there must be unity within the Republican Party or we will perish. Clearly, the time has come for Civil War in the Republican Party to determine who will control the party. If the Rinos prevail and retain power over the direction of the party, there is no option now but to split away and incur the unavoidable short-term and intermediate losses necessarily incurred in the startup of the new movement. If the Republican Party does not serve as a vehicle for conservatism, there is no point in losing the election at the primary level because we will certainly lose it at the general election level-even if we score a nominal victory.
If conservatives cannot use the Republican Party as a vehicle for saving the Republic, the Republican Party is no longer of any use but the salvation of the Republic remains a worthy goal. In fact, it is indispensable goal. Conservatism is at an existential threshold. Either we take over the Republican Party or we break away and compete with it. If we stay subsumed and co-opted within the Republican Party we will simply die a lingering death and we may not even survive as a party to watch the demise of the Republic.
The conscience of a conservative cries out for an aggressive unrelenting, unremitting 24/7 campaign against the Democrats from the end of the last cycle to the beginning of the next. We cannot, as you suggest, rely on the media because it is perfectly clear they will not abide a Democrat defeat. This particular television ad is an example of a Republican effort to get around the media to the electorate. This ad, or rather the failure to run this and, must be exploited as a metaphor of the Rinos failure aggressively to fight our corner.
We are at about seven months since the last election, seven months that John Boehner and most of the Republicans have frittered away. Karl Rove has not squandered his time, he is setting up a money machine with which to dominate the Republican Party and stifle conservatism. We are in a civil war to win control of the Republican Party and we are in a war to the death with Democrats. We cannot lose on either front if we are to save the Republic.
This is a momentous and perilous course. I am not unaware that break away movements and third-party startups are historically doomed in America with, of course, the great exception of the Whigs and Republicans just before the Civil War. Such a schism normally should be avoided at all costs. But after McCain and Romney, after both Bushes, I see no other way ahead.

read the rules, infiltrate one or both parties, boy have they nearly got all their rules passed and still our side is cowardly minus Cruz and Sarah, seems to me that we have been taken over, and when those Like Cruz and Sarah speak up the infiltrators attack them .
Does the RNC, GOP also sit down with their lefty pals and come up with plans to silence us, hell even talk radio is getting pathetic and can’t talk social issues, the lefts communists holy grail
Romney did not want to win,
He frightened himself badly in the first debate, saw he had a chance to win, so he blew the next two.
He never had any intention to win.
Run the ad.
The RNC thought they were supposed to help Obama.....cause thats what they did
Just another reason why I contributed ZERO DOLLARS to Mitt Romney and the RNC in 2012 was the right call.
.... Awwwwwww.... c'mon peeps .... I think we should all know why!!! ... It's all a part of the incredible winning strategy of creating a new "Kinder and Gentler" Republican party! You know! .... the same strategy that has not been successful the past few Federal elections!!
.... Of course that said .... that strategy kind of leads me to the following conclusion. Einstein defined insanity as "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."..... Therefore using that definition .... I truly believe that the Republican party, aka the GOP, has become insane.
I think the RNC is just another branch of the DNC.
That too.
When the horse is dead, it's time to get off.
It's time.
We'll either part ways with each other under a mutual agreement or there will be horrific bloodshed. Either way, all sides cannot continue to peacefully occupy the same country.
Unfortunately...we can already tell why. Look how the hearings were reported - either not at all, or reported as a partisan witch hunt with no information provided as to the testimony from the witnesses.
A new one with the somber testimony interposed with Hillary saying “What difference does it make???!!!” would be effective.
Indeed. It’s so depressing have two liberal political parties and no viable conservative party in our nation.
Yes, it is depressing. Then again, you’ll get to shoot- for a reason to the season. Salt your illusions, they’ll keep. Where ever you’ve thought you lived, is well gone and drying.
