Chuck Todd has defended the Obama admin's decision not to send more special ops to Benghazi.
Appearing on today's Morning Joe, NBC News political director Todd claimed that the decision to send only two special ops to Benghazi was "very rational." He also literally laughed off the notion that Benghazi could boil into a major scandal.

Even if Obummer stays in office, there will be some good outcomes here. For example, this will give his entire administration a black eye; he will—perhaps—be a bit more aggressive protecting our human assets in the future; Hillary will be hurt with the ‘independents,’ and finally, the reputation of the “press” will be further weakened.

I know for a fact having served in the QRF role that we are on 20 minutes notice to go anywhere, our bags are packed, we have planes ready t go, we have our vehicles if needed on stand by and everything is a go right from the get go of the orders we receive.
This Todd has never served in a combat unit as far as I know and he and his ilk will do their best to cover this up like they do on about everything their messiah has screwed up
If the goal is to have the Ambassador kidnapped, so he can be trade bait for the blind Sheik, then you don’t want any gun play.

I know for a fact help could have been sent, I served in a combat unit and we did QRF and we are ready to go within 20 minutes, weapons, kit, vehicles, planes on stand by.

The really sick thing about this whole deal is that just a few months earlier when the hostilities in Libya were hot and heavy,the same F18 fighter bombers that stayed on the runways or the decks of a nearby aircraft carrier and the same AC130 gunships and Special Forces units that were told to stand down to rescue our diplomats and intelligence people were being scrambeled on a minutes notice on an emergency expidite basis to rescue Al Qeada and Muslium Brotherhood terrorists who were under attack - including released ex Gitmo prisoners.

More than likely had these two not disobeyed orders Stevens and everyone else would have been taken hostage.
There was no concern from the Obama adm. for anyone’s safety because the plan was for hostages to be taken.

What if you just happened to be in the area, having traveled there to get an interview with Chris Stevens.
Imagine, the local AQ group began circling around outside, with shoulder-fired missile launchers, you pick up your phone and cry, "Help, we're surrounded and need fast action asap or we'll all be killed!"
The answer coming back on the other end was, "Sorry Chuck, our 'rapid action force' is too precious to be sent into harms way, have a nice day."
And some very smart people think that Benghazi was in fact a blown kidnapping attempt.
It is very logical if the decisions were being made by Axelrod, not our national security team.
