Keepers of State Ping Lists

Making a list of those who keep the various state ping lists was suggested to me by FreedomPoster. I like good ideas.

I started this project wanting to ping every state to stories that were more jaw dropping than usual, e.g.

A sensitive matter (The Economist is stepping back from anthropogenic global warming!)

Why Are the Feds Trying to Identify All Gun Owners in Missouri? (Just concealed carry!)

The basis of this list was cgk's UPDATED MASTER List of FReeper PING LISTS; Vol. VIII - SPRING Edition! REGIONAL / FR CHAPTERS.

The list for those who have state ping lists that I posted at the start of this thread is already obsolete.

I'll wait a few days and post the revision separately. If there's no keeper for a state, then go to my home page, about page, etc. The states are in alphabetical order from JLS in Alabama to archy in Wyoming. I couldn't label the states because I wanted a national list of states. I can post it as one long string of screen names.

Screen names often include the name of the state or its abbreviation. You just have to inspect it for a particular state.

You can probably remove SC Swamp Fox and dixie sass from the SC ping list managers. I haven’t heard from either of them is a long time. Swamp Fox’s last post was 04/03/2013 and Dixie Sass hasn’t posted since 10/09/2011.

We lost an invaluable FReeper when we lost cgk. I have multiple lists on my profile page. All are labeled in some fashion except the one after the diabetes list and the string of 50 states starting with JLS. When I started this I wanted a string of FReepers in the 50 states.

I never wished to upset anyone by making ping lists of various state Freepers, but I did make lists and sorry to say upset some folks. As Freepers asked me to remove them, I did.

To answer your question, I still do have a list of Freepers from Wyoming. I hope I didn’t upset you.

If you don't want to be on my list for your state, then FReepmail me. You will be removed promptly.

If you want to volunteer to keep your state ping list for a state that has nobody or only one person keeping that state's ping list, please FReepmail me. This is my last call for volunteers to keep state ping lists.

I don't think it's a bad idea to have two or more people keeping a single state's ping list. People are not on this forum 24/7. It's a convenience activity. People have lives beyond this forum. Stuff happens. I wasn't on this forum when Cuomo pulled his gun grab in January because of family matters.
