Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

Let's see. How does she compare to my litmus checks:

What's not to like?

Oh, yeah. That thing about not reading newspapers and also seeing Russia from her house. That's just too dumb to be true. /s

Well, but she did resign from her office, so I guess that's one thing not to like. But they all have at least one thing not to like. How does she compare on all the major conservative issues?

And the left absolutely hates her.

And Tokyo Rove and the GOP-e absolutely despises her.

But tea party conservatives like her. A lot!

And so do I.

How about you?

Are you ready to turn this country around with an honest to God pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, God-loving, America-loving patriot and grassroots conservative favorite who we can all be proud of and for whom we will work overtime for a change?

I love Sarah Palin

Her first speeches on a national level made me weep ..as manly as I could muster

I thought here is a woman who understands how we all feel...I though Magnus, Thatcher...

I have disagreed with her a few times...one major one over McCain, I'm not big on giving the impression oil companies don't pay enough..., I eschew “girl power” talk, and a few other things

I'd give her 90% ...which is actually damned good.

I do not follow most women as leaders but would her...no question.

I like Ted Cruz and lesser players but our field is thin.

We have a vast GOPe and Ailes/FOX to contend with who are our enemies, a weak talk radio consortium of “heroes” who are afraid to take profound stands and lose access....Levin takes a stand more than most but still parses over Rio Grande Rubio

Sarah I think was poised to run even against all that would have been arrayed against her ..and it would be a torrent

but that crazy book hit with really salacious crap mostly denied by all parties and I think she spooked off

given how so many hate her with their every fiber she would have to really really really want it

and I don't think she does

I had hoped she did

Whoever takes the conservative banner will be eviscerated and better be prepared to fight back.....

and take no prisoners....run to the American public not the media or party heads

its a tall order but she was the front runner for the base

A leader knows how to bring people together. Sarah Palin divides. Not entirely her fault.

Palin is a uniter, not a divider. Dividers depend on 50% approval, not 80, and 85, and 93%.

Governor Palin was a radical reformer and took on both parties in her state, she was a conservative fighting the democrats, while also fighting her own entrenched, republican machine, yet she AVERAGED over 77% approval from her taking office to McCain choosing her as veep, that is not the approval numbers of a divider, they are the rare and extraordinary numbers of a person that people love and respect.

Actually Palin has been doing much of that, as a tea party leader and the leader of the conservative movement, and involving herself in about 80 campaign endorsements and campaigns, Palin writes and speaks.

Even in the 2012 Romney disaster, Palin gave us our only Senate seat pickup and also gave us Ted Cruz.

I have been doing some poking on the web and found that a Natural Born Citizen is one who is born to parents who are both citizens of the United States. You have some good information. What you have described is how one can be a citizen of the United States, but a Natural Born Citizen is different. In Senator Ted Cruz’s situation, he was born to a citizen mother but had a non-citizen father who did not become naturalized until 2005. Both parents were not citizens. He may be a citizen but does not fit the requirements of being a Natural Born Citizen.

For a good look at what’s out there, go here:

The very first time I heard her speak, I was up on my feet doing the old fist pump! She is lively, vibrant, genuine, and does not speak the same tired old boring political talk.

There was a time I felt awful for what rove and the chiming monkeys were doing to her, but as time has gone by, I’ve admired her strength and determination to be true to herself, her values and the love of her fellow man and our country.

Without hesitation I would vote for her and work to make it a reality.

Heck yeah, Jim, I would support her!

Haven’t liked ANY candidate since I was old enough to vote as much as her.

Waah, he doesn't worship my hero! I'll call him names! Which one of us resembles a leftist?

Yes, she has a thin resume. I can defend that statement with facts. Alaska is the 2nd least populous state and she completed 0.9 terms in office. Clearly many people think that is enough. Some agree that she has a thin resume but believe that she is fully capable regardless of her limited experience. That's a fair argument. However, calling people names because you can't handle any criticism of an idol is a very liberal attitude.

Palin has a much more impressive resume than Romney as a failed governor who couldn’t win reelection to his single term in elective office, or the 2008 Obama.

Palin and Romney both have about 20 years of running for office and politics, I’ll take Palin.

Unfortunately, Palin is not doing the equivalent hard work to prove her liberal critics wrong and small-minded. I would love for her to be writing and delivering speeches like Reagan and Thatcher did for years.

Hmmmm....I guess you missed these:

I wouldn’t work against her, I hate RINOS, I liked Palin, but I feel she really blew a good opportunity by not running last time. I’m fine with her getting the nod, and I was salivating over it in the last presidential election, but she broke my heart with her decision. If she’s our candidate that’s great, I just question her willingness to run and with good reason.

I hope your right, I used to think the GOP was doomed to never win another POTUS election after Barry got a second term. But, I think we’ll have some good candidates in 2016, don’t know if Palin would be there, but I would be happy with a Ted Cruz, Gov. Perry, or maybe Rand Paul.

I would second your thought. I will support her if nominated.

I strongly support her views but having views and being able to translate them to productive political work is different. Since her initial run, I have not seen the “fire in the Belly” required to become a winner.

I will reiterate my 2012 thought. To be successful there must be conservative, dare I say it, solidarity. To achieve that position, the primary must be contested with one candidate, one accepted voice.

To achieve that there must be a winnowing, a competition. That is there must be a conservative pre-primary to produce the best and strongest candidate.

In December 2015, there must be a convention of conservatives to find and put forward their candidate for the Republican Primary.

H-m-m-m

A conservative pre-primary...Fantastic. But only if we ALL circle the wagaons for our candidate.

And yes, if she jumped in, I would support Sarah.
