Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

Let's see. How does she compare to my litmus checks:

What's not to like?

Oh, yeah. That thing about not reading newspapers and also seeing Russia from her house. That's just too dumb to be true. /s

Well, but she did resign from her office, so I guess that's one thing not to like. But they all have at least one thing not to like. How does she compare on all the major conservative issues?

And the left absolutely hates her.

And Tokyo Rove and the GOP-e absolutely despises her.

But tea party conservatives like her. A lot!

And so do I.

How about you?

Are you ready to turn this country around with an honest to God pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, God-loving, America-loving patriot and grassroots conservative favorite who we can all be proud of and for whom we will work overtime for a change?

No, pushing off abortion to states is NOT an answer it is a dodge. Abortion MUST be illegal in ALL 50 states, as should open homosexuality, prostitution, pornography, etc. I doubt that a Palin administration would do much to shut down abortion or to reverse the damage to the military by the current administration in regards to open homosexuality. She is too libertarian on moral issues.

Sarah Palin is not as morally conservative as folks think she is. However, I will say she is better than 99% of those potentially in the running for POTUS. So, I would support her....but I would do so knowing she will disappoint me on moral issues. It would be “informed” support. If social/moral conservatives think she is the answer....they will be disappointed. However, she is as probably as good as we can get....and (pragmatically speaking) hope to win an election.

Michele Bachmann is my first choice, I think she is more consistant than Sarah

But I would vote for her in the election if Michele is not the candidate

“Roe v Wade wouldn’t exist if the Federal government followed libertarian principle.......”

That is absurd. The Roe decision was based upon a “right to privacy” that fits right into the Libertarian playbook and outlook on things.

So, basically whoever wins the GOP nomination is not worth winning the Presidency

At this point in history, yes. Not in 1979. Maybe not in 1999. Otherwise over the past several decades, yes.

Absolutely! Other than Cruz, she is the most truly conservative...and not just talking party nonsense...candidate out there. It would be hard to decide if BOTH ran. Re Everyone else? I am not so excited as the more you learn about them, the more there is to dislike!

Well then let’s hope Hillary wins in 2016. The heck with the nation. We need to teach the GOP a lesson.

ly like her, but she has no chance.

Like Buchanan, the elite will not permit someone with rough edges (in their view) to be their leader.

If the elite continues to run the country, it’s over, finito, toast, history. It’s time to change that.

The only one with a chance to get rid of the corruption, if it is possible at all.

I think the question is about Sarah Palin, not Romney or Obama.

We will see. If she really thinks abortion should be up to the states -that isn’t good. But it’s one thing out of many. That alone would not stop me from voting for her.

No one is perfect and I don’t expect perfection. I haven’t “made it abundtantly clear that nobody fits my criteria”. I just don’t think she’s perfect but she’s a heckuva lot better than just about anyone else I can think of. Hopefully serveral real conservatives will enter the fray. We will see. One thing is she is a fighter and that is also paramount.

Hey look! another guy convinced that our diversity is our strength!

Absolutely. Lets keep rehashing the same tired hate Palin crap over and over to ensure another Romney leads the way! Because as we all know, mindlessly trashing Palin with MSNBS talking points makes for solid conservatism!

That’s the point. There are indeed a handful of tolerable conservatives around. But Palin has shown an interest and a history in getting to the ROOTS of the problem, that whole corrupt “profession political class” as she calls it. That incestuous government/media/corporate complex, which propels greater control and greater tyranny. It’s probably too tall an order for any president, but at least she’s one that would tackle it.

She might be a solid conservative, but she also has populist reformer streak... and that is desperately needed, if anything is to really change.

There is no R or conservative (or R leftist twit) candidate now or in the future that the MSM will not savage. So trying to find or hoping for an R candidate that the MSM would not make hash out of is insane.

If your mother was pregnant with you and took a day trip to Mexico and labor pains hit and she had you there, are you a Mexican?

If the Mexican government claims children born there as Mexican regardless of parental citizenship, then yes.

Our country apparently does the same. Why would you think Mexico cannot?
