The National Rife Association **will** LOSE! Why? Answer: Schools!

Posted on 05/04/2013 9:00:35 AM PDT by wintertime

THE NATIONAL RIFE ASSOCIATION **WILLL** LOSE! They will lose within one generation. Why?

THE NRA WILL LOSE BECAUSE THE NATION'S SOCIALIST-ENTITLEMENT K-12 SCHOOLS ARE BIGGER AND STRONGER THAN THE NRA!

THE NRA FOOLISHLY FOCUSES ON SKIRMISHES, WHILE PROGRESSIVE/MARXISTS ARE WINNING THE WAR IN THE SCHOOLS. The enemies of the Constitution are feasting on the souls that will be our nation's future voters, and the NRA and its members should not be surprised when the moral foundation upholding the Constitution completely collapses.

The NRA will lose because our nation's children are being aggressively taught to fear and hate guns ( and gun owners) in our government's socialist-entitlement and single-payer K-12 schools.

The NRA will lose because our nation's children are having their minds aggressively scrambled by a post-modernist teaching curriculum, classroom discussion, textbook and literature choices.

The NRA will lose because there is a Marxist, feminazi, and homonazi war against boys ( especially white boys) in our nation's socialist-entitlement K-12 schools. We already have far too many hairy Peter Pans living in their moms' basements who are utterly incapable of defending themselves, their families, and our nation.

The NRA will lose because the government's socialist-entitlement K-12 schools have so confused girls that they no longer recognize the source of true safety and happiness for themselves and children ( if they don't kill their kids in the womb.)

The NRA will lose because the anti-bullying campaigns are an evil agenda of propaganda. It's aim is to control future elections.

Yuri Bezmenov called all of the above "demoralization". He was right.

Yes, I am shouting, jumping up and down, and having a fit.

Modern compulsory-use, single-payer, and socialist-entitlement schooling was a progressive idea of the 19th century. Teacher training and curriculum development has always been in the control of progressives ( and , now, Marxists). At best, the socialist-entitlement K-12 schools offered the children lukewarm and generic Protestantism . The progressives/Marxists have always pushed for increasing secularization, and today the government's socialist-entitlement K-12 schools are utterly godless in their worldview.

REFORM OF THE NATION'S SOCIALIST-ENTITLEMENT K-12 SCHOOLS IS IMPOSSIBLE!

Question: When in the history of humankind has it ever been possible to reform a government program that is a single-payer, socialist-entitlement, compulsory-use monopoly cartel?

THE NRA WILL LOSE BECAUSE THE NATION'S SOCIALIST-ENTITLEMENT K-12 SCHOOLS ARE BIGGER AND STRONGER THAN THE NRA!

I don’t even have kids and I’m out there fighting this fight.

I started long before I had a child, and haven't stopped. It was a losing battle in Delaware, so we upped and moved to Virginia. We couldn't be happier. We ran into a problem when she was in 2nd grade and I finally had enough of dealing with the administration (school staff, including the principal was on my side) and went directly to the School Board. Since she is now in 9th grade in the same district, I obviously solved the problems.

It is not unusual for my husband and daughter to run into one of her teachers at the range, we frequently run into one or more of them at the fishing pier or public boats ramps, and in church.

I am not defending public schools, per se. I am combating out right lies and over broad generalizations that would immediately be condemned here if they were made by liberals.

This is nibbling at the edges of socialist-entitlement schooling.

You will never kill a monster this big instantaneously. You must impart the understanding that it is not only destructive, but totally unneeded.

It is not a plan for its **elimination**!

Yes, it is, because once that dual realization is confronted with the success of the competing product, it will be all over.

The government schools are the very definition of a socialist, single-payer, compulsory use entitlement that is a government monopoly CARTEL!

ONLY VERY STUPID PEOPLE would think that such a monster can be reformed or that any good for our continuing freedom could emerge from it. It would be like birthing and alien in the movie “Alien”.

If Thomas Jefferson could see the horror or our nation's socialist-entitlement schools and the ignorance they generate he would die a second death!

When Thomas Jefferson advocated educating American citizens he likely had his **OWN** education and that of his fellow signers of the Declaration in mind. Schooling then produced the **MOST** literate society ever known to humankind. It included:

homeschooling
private tutoring
neighborhood dame schools
Sunday schools
Parent built, owned, and controlled one-room schools that met very briefly through the year.
Private boarding academies in the homes of tutors to prepare the brightest for entrance into college as YOUNG TEENS!

Without compulsion and state force our nation had a population of people that made the pamphlets “Common Sense” and “The Federalist Papers” mega best sellers. “Les Miserables” and “Moby Dick” were the rage. Charles Dickens wrote serial novels for common newspapers for the common man. Today, these works are a struggle for even the college educated. Think about the beautifully written letters sent home by ordinary grunt soldiers of the Civil War. Even Tocqueville wrote about the high level of education and literacy of even the poorest farmers.

Gee! May God again curse our nation with such success! /s

Virginia is an example.

Virginia should be the model.

Thank you for your encouraging post.

It is helpful to know that others recognize the extreme threat that socialist-entitlement K-12 schooling is to our nation’s continuing freedom and understand the urgency of acting **NOW**!

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

They're going to have a tough time making kids hate guns in this part of NYS.

With all due respect wintertime, I disagree with your stance on public schools for the reasons that I previously mentioned.

If patriots would quit sitting on their hands, then it would be relatively easy to kick the federal government out of the public schools for the following simple reasons. First, not only have the states never delegated to Congress the specific powers to regulate public schools, evidenced by the Constitution's silence about public schools, but note the excerpt below.

As I have posted just short of a million times on FR (/s), Justice John Marshall had officially clarified that Congress cannot lay taxes in the name of state power issues, essentially any issue which Congress cannot justify under its Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." --Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

So think of all the extra millions of dollars that each state could be spending to teach the Constitution in its public schools if the states stopped Congress from stealing state revenues in the form of constitunonally indefensible taxes that it is now laying on citizens. Same remedy for public healthcare.

The problem with the country is that the constitutionally guaranteed "persuit of happiness" for most patriots is evidently to complain about unconstitutionally big federal government as opposed policing Congress to keep Congress in its Section 8-limited power cage. So the Founding States arguably wasted their time writing everything that follows the happiness clause imo.

Same in most parts of VA - especially when the kids run into their teachers, or school board members, or elected officials at the range............

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It was once that way throughout the entire United States. Not any longer. Socialist-entitlement schooling has played a major part in the erosion of Constitutional values. This includes the Second Amendment.

As a temporary measure we should partner with Hillsdale College to run weekend seminars on western civilization, Judaeo-Christian morals and philosophy and America’s uniqueness. Open it to kids of conservatives to counter the crap they get in schools.

That would be the responsibility of the parents; not the poster ‘wintertime’.

Wintertime has been asked on numerous occasions about how children should be educated if the schools did close. His/her response amounts to little more than "Que sera sera."

Humble gunner and myself pointed out to him/her that due circumstances beyond a parents control that home schooling is not an option. Things such as being a single parent, location, physical limitations, need for a second income, etc... make it impossible for home schooling to be a choice.

Humblegunner suggested that if the schools close we could send them to wintertimes house especially the more incorrigible ones.

Yep.

MANY "parents" are dumbasses and dirtbags and are not going to participate in, much less orchestrate, their offspring's education.

Close the schools and you've just let these little thuglets loose onto the streets.

Oh, it may not be their fault that they are what they are but that factor ceases to be
a concern when the MILLIONS of them have just been turned out to do as they will.

Here they come, winter. Coming up your street. Hoppin' and boppin' and carrying on.

What now?

That, too!

A number of my daughter’s teachers belong to the sporting/shooting club that hosts the 4-H shooting and archery group.

Contrary to what is being promoted on this thread - not all public schools promote an anti-constitutional (particularly 2nd A) position.

It is that broad brush generalization that keeps me coming to these threads. However, since the poster refuses to acknowledge that simple FACT and instead demands those who point out FACTS not post to her, nothing posted by her can be taken seriously or as truth.
