College costs are on the rise–having increased at a rate that outpaces inflation for more than two decades, contributing to record levels of student debt. Nevertheless, Duke University saw fit to raise the cost of its program even more. This week Campus Reform reports that Duke has raised student fees in order to pay for sex change operations for any student who wants one.
Administrators say they will cover the cost of the reassignment surgery up to $50,000 that will be covered with a cause a 0.3 percent increase to overall student fees.LGBT advocates on campus immediately celebrated the university’s decision.
“The addition of sexual reassignment surgery with a $50,000 cap makes Duke’s student health care plan one of the most, if not the most, transgender-inclusive plans in the country,” Sunny Frothingham, the outreach chair for Blue Devils United told the Duke Chronicle last week…

Just wonder does that include Duke University Health Systems because in 2012 the State of Michigan approved the sale of Marquette General Health Hospital to be part of Duke University health Systems. Marquette is a teaching hospital and a Level 1 trauma Center. (I am not kidding about Duke University purchasing a hospital in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan).
This is weird, but may explain some weird charges showing up on my Marquette General Hospital bill (A Duke University Health Systems Facility) that i do not understand. The billing comes from Illinois - outsourced their medical billing to another state.

Now there are other scriptures that make exceptions for birth defects and castration not under your control. And I would suspect Christ can even forgive a repentant tranny, but everyone that I have met that has gone this route is too far gone for that.

I just wanted clarification because what you said is factually incorrect. The Bible does not say what you wrote. Misquoting the Bible is no small thing.
Word about this gets out and Duke will have the largest “transgender” population in the country. Fees will really have to increase then!

I asked you where. None of the scriptures you posted in response specifically say what you claimed in post 18. I am very hesitant to put a limit on the grace of God by saying that a sad and twisted soul who goes through this mutilation is beyond God's redemption. From my limited understanding of scripture the only unforgivable sin is dying without Jesus. Maybe your understanding is different.
