The former fiancee of NBA star Jason Collins said today she had no idea that he was gay, despite dating him for eight years.
Carolyn Moos, 34, broke up with Collins - who became the first openly gay, active player when he came out yesterday - in 2009 when he cancelled their wedding, leaving her heartbroken and confused.
The 6'5" former WNBA player said she was shocked when Collins delivered the news to her last weekend and confessed that was the real reason he ended their relationship.

Wondering how his team mates are dealing with this now... beyond the obvious coaching to be politically correct and pretend their “good to go” with it.

I think he’ll probably play for one more year and then retire for a book deal and celebrity endorsements. In the meantime, the fawning MSM will make him the focus of every single game he plays in. They’re probably HOPING he gets heckled or booed in future games (even if it’s because his performance on the court sucked and had absolutely nothing to do with his “sexual orientation”), so they can use it as footage for various “overcoming homophobia” specials and documentaries they do about what a courageous forerunner this guy is for gay athletes, blah blah blah...

As for dating her for 8 years, I know a gay dude who married for 15 years and had two teenager daughters with his wife, before he discovered at age 37 that he was "born gay" and left her for a dude. Weird stuff. But dumping this chick means he's either truly gay, brain damaged, or getting a ton of $$$ to play the gay card.
