A Mississippi martial arts instructor was charged on Saturday with attempting to use a biological weapon after a ricin-laced letter was sent to President Barack Obama earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
James Everett Dutschke, age 41, was arrested early on Saturday, following searches of his home and a former business as part of the ricin letter investigation.
Dutschke was taken into custody by FBI agents at his Tupelo home shortly after midnight FBI spokeswoman Deborah Madden said in a statement.

How far is Tupelo from Liberty Mississippi?

About 288 miles, up I-55.
I don't pay attention and they move I-55 from west to east.
Was the first guy they arrested and publicly smeared, finally cleared publicly? Which (corrupt) gov’t dept does he go to to get his reputation back?
Maybe it’s that earthquake machine that Hugo Chávez warned us about.
A Bruce Lee impersonator?
Dunno, but we could ask Uncle Versie.

About as far as you can get in Mississippi
I think ricin is a bit much .... my preference would be to simply punch the little hemorrhoid in the mouth and de-pants him.
He used Uncle Ben’s rice in the letter?
I sincerely hope that the FBI has found the culprit for this act of terrorism. However, the FBI has a dismal record at solving high profile terror cases such as the Unibomber (17 years,); the Atlanta bombing case (arrested the security guard who noticed the bomb in a brief case);
Whitey Bolger (so many years on the lamb, protected by corrupt Boston FBI agents); the failure to pursue Saudi 9/11 “student pilots who were more interested in flying than landing, and ignoring warnings from other FBI field offices; failing to purse the Boston Bomber Brother #1 and his mother in 2011 from numerous warnings from Russian Security Service.
It is apparent to me that Obama and Holder have deliberately imposed restrictions on investigating others involved in the Boston Marathan case (for instance, the elusive “Misha” and so many other Muslim looking young men photographed “partying in New York City with Bomber #2. Not to mention that Muslim Brotherhood cells are not pursued.

He was publicly smeared here on FR also. Many Freepers were giddy that he was a Democrat.
How would an average person, be able to get their hands on a chemical like this?
Do the have access to a us biological weapons lab?
I remember it with a bumper sticker which I think said, “Democrat and Christian”, wasn’t it? I think I commented on the anthrax guy right after 9-11-01, on that thread.
Ricin is made from castor beans, which are very easy to grow, especially in the south, and perfectly legal. People sometimes use the beans to poison varmints. You can make ricin in your house, no lab neccessary.
Our troops found huge quantities of this "waste" material at an Iraqi processing site.
This is not the first time Dutschke has been involved with law enforcement officials. Dutschke is currently out on $25,000 bond facing three state indictments that he allegedly fondled three females under the age of 16.
Dutschke has twice run for public office in Northeast Mississippi. In 2007, he unsuccessfully challenged Democratic incumbent Steve Holland for a seat in the state House of Representatives as a Republican. In 2008, he lost a bid for Lee County election commissioner as a Democrat.

Thanks for the info, all though it’s not comforting to find out that your average moron can probably make the stuff.
