WASHINGTON (AP) — Russian authorities secretly recorded a telephone conversation in 2011 in which one of the Boston bombing suspects vaguely discussed jihad with his mother, officials said Saturday, days after the U.S. government finally received details about the call.
In another conversation, the mother of now-dead bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was recorded talking to someone in southern Russia who is under FBI investigation in an unrelated case, officials said.

Worth remembering ~ and with enough research you can look it up ~ lots of articles on it ~ rates of schizophrenia are different for different ethnicities.
In the US, the largest ethnic group has a 1.2% rate. The next largest group comes in at 3.6 to 6.0% depending on origin. The European researchers suggest that the Chechnyans have rate of at least 9% ~ and probably higher, but they just can't get everybody to stop for a short talk with a friendly psychiatric researcher.
The Chechnyans ARE ALSO a remnant from a far larger population at the beginning of WWII. Stalin rounded them up and shipped them to Siberia ~ half died along the way. No doubt even more died in Siberia.
Folks have always wondered if schizophrenia had some sort of survival value ~ otherwise it seemed it would have been bred out of civilized human beings. Getting shipped to Siberia might have shown schizophrenia's advantage ~ it turns many into animals who survive no matter what.
It's all so sad ~ but very dangerous for the rest of us.

Well don’t know about other things but she was caught and charged with theft sometime in 2012 of over $1,600 worth of items from Lord and Taylor department store. She vacated the USA before going to court as I understand it.
Family members have said Tamerlan was religiously apathetic until 2008 or 2009, when he met a conservative Muslim convert known only to the family as Misha. Misha, they said, steered Tamerlan toward a stricter version of Islam.
At any rate, dollar-to-doughnuts ‘Misha’ is in that group photo with all OBL’s sons. Probably *a* son.

I don't know the origin of the name Misha but it sounds like it's closer to a Chechnyan Muslim name than an Arab one.
If he was a fan of boxing, wrestling and weight lifting music he was familiar with Fatboy Slim's music. One of them has a repeated lyric that appears to contain the name 'Misha'
