Okay, I am officially tired of reading about this entire matter. And this story has picture of Mark Dayton, who is a Dem and who most people believe is limp-wristed.

Nothing to do with conservatism, just liberals calling themselves republicans.

This is why Republicans can not win elections. They if you wanna vote for a Democrat policy why not vote for the Democrat politician

That’s a great thing about FR. If you have no interest, just scroll on. Wasting keystrokes and post numbers to share disinterest is purely optional - and kinda lame.

The whole problem with “Gay Marriage”, is that I will be subject to government censure, or even criminal charges, if I dare to voice my continuing disapproval of same.

In other words, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ will become against the law.

They are not conservatives.

They are Republicans.

Big difference.

Unfortunately.

I think the GOP should liberalize on a couple things like the drug war. Gay marriage is not one of them, nor should they cave on uncontrolled immigration, or gun control. In the long run these values will survive a flash in the pan.

I sincerely do not hate on gay people and they should do what they want, just not call it matrimony.

The GOP should show some backbone on the ‘Battleground USA’ (martial law) and not leave it all to Rand to fight alone. No republicans should have been allowed to support CISPA in any way.

Wow. The Gop isn’t even interested in throwing conservatives a bone any more. So what have they not given in on? That leaves the 2nd amendment & abortion....well, abortion is legal and that isn’t going to change.

We were just talking about the caving GOP last night.

PS. The big donors, the Koch Bros are also all in favor of Gay Marriage.

Don, you left out the part of having to grind my teeth. I was not expressing disinterest in your post, just that I am tired of all the harping on this subject in the media. The MSM is obsessed with gay marriage, abortion “rights,” amnesty for people who’ve broken our laws and how mean we are to Muslims — to the exclusion of other stories they should be covering.

They are not conservatives. They are Republicans.

Of course. You know that. I know that. Hopefully, all God's FReepers know that. My point is that the Republican brand is morphing before our eyes. As Mark Levin said the other night (paraphrase) "What is wrong with a simple NO to the left? Why this knee jerk to offer 'alternatives' to the blantant rush to destruction of the Republic?"

Progressive deviant homosexual activists pose aa a Conservative group, to sway progressive republicans posing as Conservatives to vote for sodomistic contracts.

"The group has spent $500,000 on lobbying since last month, including efforts in Rhode Island, Delaware, Indiana, West Virginia and Utah. Billionaire hedge fund manager and Republican donor Paul Singer launched American Unity PAC."

Of course, it is not a group. One billionaire.
