The George W. Bush Presidential Library is being dedicated and opened this week. This prompts a thought: what might the future Barack Obama Presidential Library look like?
*snip*
There will be vast areas of empty space that normally would be allocated to showcase accomplishments that led to the presidency. There will be no shelves taken up with such things as college transcripts, the "lost" thesis from Columbia University, records from Obama's time as a state Senator (they also went "missing"; actually Obama has also said they were thrown out -- how convenient ); there will be scant records of legal writing from the man who was celebrated as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review and who went on to serve as a constitutional lecturer for years at the University of Chicago.
His work history at a Chicago law firm? Absent. Who were his clients, what work did he do (apparently not much, the founder of the firm said he spent much of his time with his feet up on his desk working on his autobiography while in his twenties; a book that was delivered late-like Obama's budgets). A record of voting present as a state senator speaks volumes -- or rather does not.

Sorry, it's closed. Some moron checked the book out.
“Library closed today, on vacation.”
I’ll bet it has minarets.
By the time the library is constructed, there will probably be enough of his autobiographies to fill a shelf.
In the main foyer, his teleprompters will be on display.
There will be a whole wing devoted to how he saved the world from global warming and rising seas.
Another wing will be devoted to how he saved the world from man-caused disasters (what we used to call terrorism).
Another wing will be devoted to how he saved the United States (and the world) from the worst economy ever. (Thank you very much, George W. Bush.)
Another wing will be devoted to how he saved our health care system.
Another wing will be devoted to how much more he could have done if not for that pesky Tea Party.
A wing devoted to Bo, the wonder dog.
Whew, that’s a lot of wings. Maybe he will need two libraries.
Things you won’t find there:
1) The American flag
2) Military appreciation (by him or for him)
3) Any mention of the U.S. Constitution
4) Doctors
5) Visitors (other than BHO himself)
You left out the photo gallery dedicated to the worship of ...himself...which will most likely take up %95 of the space. The man do love lookin’ at hisself.
It will be a ‘Hall of Mirrors’.
Things we won’t find there, continued: 6. A genuine birth certificate, 7. The (conveniently-stolen?) immigration records, and?
Out front will be the Whithouse basketball backboard to celebrate his 2 for 22 shooting prowess as well as a putting green for people to get a feel for how difficult it is to putt left handed.
Yes, and the chapel where you can worship him.
One room for every page of “Dreams of My Father.”
Thistle bee good.
That was awesome.
Abridged, or "Full Ayers Edition"?
In BHO’s library, there will be an interactive ‘FLOTUS’ room in unmatching, crazy colors, invoking those years of ghastly ‘fashion.’ Perhaps ‘boob belts’ will become wall sconces.
The room will feature 4 large Mirrors.
As library guests approach the mirrors, sporting a wig with bangs, and chanting ‘Mirror, mirror on the wall, - - ‘ a super-imposed image of Meshell Obigmouthmama’s face appears, and the guest tries to make the best scowl ever, which becomes part of the face. All the while the flag passes behind the image - - -
Prize to be awarded for the best scowl after each set of 4 participants. Perhaps a booklet containing statements of ‘Being a Proud American For The First Time.’
A pile of bullshit in a glass case.
LOL! And it was a comic book!
And, yes, there will be a choir section with dummies sitting in BO pews and as he walks in he steps on a button and his worship begins.
There will be no library—only a very small home in Chicago for a vest pocket site-—.
