After being read Miranda rights, the Boston bombing suspect in custody, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, has stopped talking to authorities, officials tell the Associated Press. boston bomber
"The surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings acknowledged to the FBI his role in the attacks but did so before he was advised of his constitutional right to keep quiet and seek a lawyer, U.S. officials said Wednesday," reports the Associated Press.
"Once Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was read his rights on Monday, he immediately stopped talking, according to four officials of both political parties who were briefed on the interrogation but insisted on anonymity because the briefing was private.
"After roughly 16 hours of questioning, investigators were surprised when a magistrate judge and a representative from the U.S. Attorney's office entered the hospital room and read Tsarnaev his rights, the four officials and one law enforcement official said. Investigators had planned to keep questioning him.
"It is unclear whether any of this will matter in court since the FBI says Tsarnaev confessed to a witness and U.S. officials said Wednesday that physical evidence, including a 9 mm handgun and pieces of a remote-control device commonly used in toys, was recovered from the scene."

This case is headed for a lot of appeals.
Ring any bells???
He’ll have to be kept in solitary for years to avoid a Daumer event. Some criminals just have that bad luck, plus, the jailhouse Moslem ulema is going to stay back away from this guy
Older brother confessed but younger brother can plead innocent and he didn’t know what was going on....they have to have video of him detonating that device.
And if something happens to witness there is the 6th amendment of right to confront your accuser.
Watching to see if MSM starts to paint younger bro as being treated unfairly.
Communists in our top tier government ARE really pushing hard for CW II.
The ACLU will probably get involved. The little dirtbag deserves no rights.
Actually it would be CW I. The first one was not a true civil war.
I get so amused at people who get onto the left because they don't follow the letter of the law and then don't want to follow the letter of the law when it doesn't suit them.
We call that HYPOCRISY boys and girls.
What I want to know is, who ordered the magistrate judge and the U.S. Attorney’s office rep to intervene.
This stinks of Holder/Hussein.
The ACLU bedwetters need to meet the heavily armed ACRO.....
American Constitutional Rights Organization.
Surprise, surprise!
Do we really see the next “Civil War” as being a fight to control the central government,
or, like that of 1860, simply another war for independence from that central government?
FoxNews
Megyn Kelly is reporting that a FED judge interceded over the FBI, that said judge had to be on direct orders from DoJ - AG Holder.
Kelly ponders ‘why?’ DoJ would step in BEFORE the FBI finished their interrogation.
[Sounds like this case is turning into another investigative fiasco, like Benghazi, of misinformation and misdirection.]
He is a US Citizen.
You have to wrap your head around the fact that we have to protect the rights of the worst in order to protect our own rights.
Because who is to say that Holder won’t up and consider you a terrorist one day.
You could be framed. It can happen.
And still waiting on the story of who was trying to frame the RICIN guy.
“Megyn Kelly is reporting that a FED judge interceded over the FBI, that said judge had to be on direct orders from DoJ - AG Holder.”
In what way?? Did he order the Miranda rights or what????
There was a reason for Miranda here. The feds don’t want him talking about Islam and such.It would compromise the official story that he was a lone wolf motivated by societal injustice and racism.
I'd rather not see a CW in my lifetime or in the future. Nobody wants to.
I just don't see how I can tolerate a government getting more and more tyrannical every day.
He’ll probably end up a tenured professor at Harvard.
Megan said she will have more on this at 1PM est on her show.
There is a clear exemption to the Miranda law and if any case were designed for that exemption, this one would be top of the list.
