Carla Hale, a teacher in Clintonville, Ohio, was fired just days after an anonymous parent informed the school that her partner's name had appeared in her mother's obituary. Update- April 24, Hale's grievance has been denied.

Oh, the Methodists are "practicing", all right. When they are ready to resume playing professionally, let me know. Otherwise, I'm done with their phony "inclusiveness" b***s***. They have their Founder spinning in his grave.
To repeat: An understated 'coming out' is still a 'coming out' and a scandal. "scandal is a word or action evil in itself, which occasions another's spiritual ruin. It [...] may be understood [...] in a large sense, as when a person without being directly concerned in the sin nevertheless exercises a certain influence on the sin of his neighbor, e.g. by committing such a sin in his presence (this is inductive scandal in a broad sense)." - http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/13506d.htm
The post was referring to "scandal" as it is defined in the Catholic religion, not as according to Marxism-saturated standards in the secular tabloid culture.
From the Catholic catechism:
2285 Scandal takes on a particular gravity by reason of the authority of those who cause it or the weakness of those who are scandalized. It prompted our Lord to utter this curse: "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened round his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea." Scandal is grave when given by those who by nature or office are obliged to teach and educate others. Jesus reproaches the scribes and Pharisees on this account: he likens them to wolves in sheep's clothing.
You are willfully ignoring her assertion that the Church should change its position regarding gay couples. Obviously, she does not just want to be left alone. Stop, already. You’re not even paying attention here.
Lovitz: You're through!!
Hartmann: What's the word on the street?
She's not married.

Adultry is more than cheating on your spouse, it is any sexual sin.
You are so right. Years ago I used to tease a female cousin with outlandish remarks. Her response would be something like ‘you are kind of queer’. Never did she doubt my attraction to the opposite sex. I used to never mind when someone at a party would say/ask isn’t this a ‘gay’ event. The homos sure knew how to use language to legitimize, in their minds at least, their perverted natures.
And the fact that she was free NOT to enter into an employment agreement that was contingent on adherence to stringent moral standards. She never lost her freedom to work in a secular setting without such conditions for employment.
Nope. Just make it clear in the written policy and on the employment apps.
We all sin all the time. But we don't justify it, like this woman, calling evil "good" and referring with righteous indignity to her "partner". Mary Magdalene was not persisting in flagrante delicto nor did she subsequently vault onto the nearest available lover when Jesus commanded her to "go and sin no more". In fact in today's reprobate generation calling sin a "sin" is considered the cruelest stone Jesus could throw.
I'm not sure why that surprises you.
With an unmarried women, of her age, looking like she did, the school likely knew of her orientation for years, but until she made it public, they weren't compelled to act.
