TORONTO (Reuters) - Canadian police and intelligence agencies are to announce multiple arrests on Monday after an operation to thwart a "major terrorist attack," the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation said on Monday, citing unnamed "highly placed" sources.

Yeah, their weapon? They were going to read Scriptural passages against homosexuality. It would have terrorized dozens. Probably resulting in some self-immolations on behalf of the listeners.

They went away for a couple of weeks a few months ago but they did not say where. I don’t know if they went back to Kazakhstan
Two Russian speaking men in their early 20s later arrived at the apartment and told reporters they were journalists from the Boston Globe.
They then entered the apartment through an unlocked patio door. When asked what they were doing they said: ‘We are friends of theirs. They are talking, they are talking’ and closed the door.
When MailOnline rang the City desk of the Boston Globe, a man said: ‘We’re very busy right now. Consider us informed’.

This newest terror arrests just make me think of all those bomb threats called in to hospitals the other night during the shoot out with the perps....done to overtax the system in order to help the perp get away.
Except this time it is our gov. Throwing out so much news to overtax our press and populace that the other unsavory things about the Boston Marathon bombing that broke today get flushed down the memory hole.

Yes, I think the story of the first lady visiting the Saudi is another false lead, I think they are trying to get people to report that so they can then prove she didn’t and then kill the whole thing discrediting all the reports about suspect 1, misdirection is the key.

Testifying last month before a Parliamentary committee, a Canadian Security Intelligence Service official said the terrorist threat had become more diffuse, with regional affiliates playing a greater role as the core of Al Qaeda had been diminished.
Michael Peirce, the CSIS Assistant Director of Intelligence, said groups like Al Shabab in Somalia, the North African-based Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb and Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula in Yemen were the new “sites of power and sites of activity” for Al Qaeda.
“This means there’s a regional distribution of the threat, and that diffusion, creating a regional distribution, leads to a greater risk of individuals travelling. Now there are a greater number of areas to travel [to], a greater number of affiliated Al Qaeda organizations to join, and that has increased the risk,” he said.

This investigation in Canada has been going on almost a year and it breaks today?? Color me skeptical....
Yikes! Would I be far off to suspect that Canada’s policy toward a “multi cultural” immigration policy is at least as “progressive” as ours...if not more so? If so,maybe *their* Chechens are coming home to roost as well.
They already tried it on Friday said Beck had the wrong Saudi and the person being deported was not the one in the hospital but another guy, Fox ran with it and discredited Glenn on the hwole story.
