Mind you, he isn’t talking only about illegal immigrants. He’s talking about any non-citizen who lives in this country permanently, including millions of Green Card holders.

agree but I;ve noticed lately that we see a thread about Paul stating his pro illegal immigration or pro homosexual marriage comments and then the next day we see the anti Rubio threads, like a tit for tat.

Also look at the posts on your hit piece , some even say how Rubio did say this and have not read the info in detail and all I;ve seen from you is hit pieces on Rubio , none on Paul.

Paul came out for amnesty, homosexual marriage etc, I’ve not seen you post one thread about any of that.

I lived in her country for years with their "green card" equivalent and didn't feel like a slave.

He’s talking about the idea of establishing a new class of permanent, non-citizen residents and I agree with him 100%, whatever the outcome (or non-outcome) of immigration reform. In Germany, a similar scheme was enacted as a “compromise” position to assuage those who didn’t want to provide German citizenship to Turkish immigrants. They wound up with millions of unassimilated immigrants living a separate life within their country with no allegiance to Germany.

Either keep people out or let them in, make them Americans, and have them accept the full responsibility of citizenship. Creating a new class of legal non-residents with no skin in the game and no allegiance to the country in which they live and from which they benefit is the worst possible outcome.
