CBS’s Lesley Stahl made a comment Sunday that in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing might give many Americans chills.
During a discussion about that horrific event on the syndicated Chris Matthews Show, Stahl said, “We're all going to end up wearing burqas” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The older brother attended a mosque in Boston which was probably begun by a Wahhabist imam, which means it would be more more Arab in nature, and the women in the Middle East DO wear burqas.
I'm just appalled that ANY American woman with a brain would consider marrying a man of Muslim origin. He may not be much of a 'believer' at first, but too many of them, like this older brother, seem to start wanting more religion, and in getting that, also tend to get radicalized.
As a priest I know put it, when your Christian neighbor goes to a revival and 'gets right with Jesus', and starts being serious about his faith, you're happy for him. If your Muslim neighbor starts getting serious about his religion, and goes off to study it further, you may need to start worrying, because that means he could start looking at you as a real enemy.
Not only are we going to end up wearing burqas, we are going to be bowing to the east and saying our prayers in Spanish.
Maybe Lesley should wear a Burqa it might make her look less ugly

I hold no brief for the MSM, but she wasn’t making a religious point.
She was saying that, in the Panopticon surveillance state of the very near future, the only way to have any privacy is to be clothed in a burqa.

Don’t know about other states, but don’t try it in Virgina. The police like to be able to get a look at people as they pass by.

There is a very real “War on Women” in the world. The question is, why do Lesley Stahl and women on the Left keep carrying water for the wrong side? Time to wake up.

Actually, you’re right - I just read that.
Even so...don’t be surprised if laws start getting pushed that way. In California they arrested some guy who put on a Ronald Reagan mask every time he ran a red-light camera (they have to identify your face to mail you the $431 ticket). Not sure what charges...probably something more vague, like “interfering with law enforcement”.

Personally, I think if you want to wear a mask, then wear a mask. Burqua too. This is a free country (or, at least used to be).
