Get the context. She was saying surveillance cameras are everywhere and wearing a full length veil or shroud or whatever you want to call it would be the only way to conceal your identity.

It was a strange remark, but not really deserving of some of the comments that were made -- not really deserving of much of a response at all. Just an example of the crazy way things sometimes strike somebody on television.

I thought maybe, just maybe, one of these leftists finally were getting it—until I read the context of her comments. She was talking about privacy, not about how our PCness with regard to Islam is going to be our undoing. She was lamenting that with every move of ours being on surveillance cameras, the only way to have any anonymity will be to cover up. With regard to Islam, she still doesn't get it.

I totally agree.I’m envious. Many of these Obama draft whorsies are starting to take their blinders off.
