"Texas Congressman Says Terrorists Taught to 'Act' Hispanic To Enter U.S."

SNIPPET: ""We know that Al Qaeda has camps over with the drug cartels on the other side of the Mexican border,” U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert said on C-SPAN. “We know that people are being trained to come in and act like they're Hispanic when they're radical Islamist.""

SNIPPET: "Gohmert, who is vice chairman of the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security, said during the interview that while the United States should continue welcoming immigrants, it also needs to be highly vigilant about its borders."

“Faced with ‘OTMs,’ Border Patrol shifts manpower”

SNIPPET: “WESLACO — Border Patrol announced plans last week to shift agents from the Laredo Sector to the Rio Grande Valley Sector, where they’ll form a dedicated processing team.

The agents have been re-assigned to the Weslaco Station, where they’ll process people apprehended by Border Patrol. That should reduce the strain on local agents, who have struggled with the extensive paperwork required to process so-called “Other Than Mexicans”— an actual category used by Border Patrol on statistical reports.”

SNIPPET: “The number of Other Than Mexicans — most agents simply call them OTMs — has steadily increased during the past decade, especially along the Texas-Mexico border.

“Over the past three years, OTM apprehensions have more than tripled nationwide and have been concentrated along the South Texas border.”

It doesn’t matter - Janet Nepolitano said “the borders have never been more secure.”

This can’t be true. We know that islamic terrorists would never use the porous southern border to cross into America instead of trying to arrive through a port or airport where there are numerous security checks and video surveillance. The only people crossing the Mexican border and poor, hardworking, honest people just looking to help America by doing the jobs Americans refuse to do. Obama said it, so it must be true. :p

They’re just NOW telling us what we’ve known for years. Glad to see some politicians have finally grown a brain. I can tell’em apart fairly easily but I’ve seen a few that would make you wonder...

My wife said “Wouldn’t it be something if it’s learned that these terrorist came from Mexico and through Texas. Of course, I doubt the media would report it.

Really great to hear from you, Davey. Like you and so many of our old group, I mostly lurk and learn. Seem like the older I get, the busier I am.........or just slowing down and everything takes me twice as long to do. Plus, I’m caring for my 96 year-old father who has Altzheimer’s. Mr. RR is now retired, so he is a big help with Dad. It takes two of us.

Drop in from time to time. I miss hearing from the old T.M.ers.
