Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said today the FBI is seeking to locate people in video from the marathon, but she added she isn’t calling them suspects.
Without providing details of what the video shows, Napolitano told the House Homeland Security Committee that “there is some video that raised the question” of individuals the FBI would like to interview.
"We have been collecting video from a variety of sources, as you might imagine, at the finish line of the Boston Marathon,” Napolitano said. “There’s lots and lots of video. There is some video that has raised the question of those that the FBI would like to speak with.
I wouldn’t characterize them as suspects under the technical term. But we need the public’s help in locating these individuals.”

We need the public’s help to solve a massive bombing case in the middle of a major American city.
But you don’t need guns to protect yourself because you can count on the Government to do that.

First of all, DHS was asleep at the wheel or this wouldn’t have happened in the fist place. Secondly, they should have the terrorists in custody by now. What a boondoggle. Meanwhile we don’t even know if it’s all clear. Now that copycats know how quick and easy it all is, how can we feel safe?
I get the feeling that if these suspects were white, all this crap wouldn’t be happening, and pics and vids of the suspects would be blasted all over the news.

It’s hard to understand their thinking on the delay.
Even if no one identifies the guy immediately, if their video image gets wide circulation people might spot the guy at an airport, bus terminal, car rental agency, etc. If the guy really is the perp, then the longer they wait the better the chance the guy has gotten away, even out of the country.
And if their guy is not the perp, circulating the video image may result in him coming forward and clearing himself, like the other two guys. Then the investigators can cross him off the list and focus on other leads.
Totally agree - everyone in the country is starting to 2nd guess this Admin. This is Obama’s Katrina moment, and I’m loving it !!!

HaHa. your comment reminds me of the time I was taking a train North in Calif. along Pac. Coast Hwy and the conductor came on the intercom and announced “We are about to pass Vandenberg AFB and they have the flag flying indicating a launch. It is a Top Secret site so do not look out the right side windows.” I think I was the only one who laughed out loud — or at all — as we all looked out the right side windows.
The FBI, DHS, Janet Imcompetano, & the Boston PD are starting to look like real idiots. All those vids & no arrests, and whoever did it could have walked out of the country by now.
What gives?
The pretense, and it seems reasonable, is that if detailed faces of perps is shown publicly they might flee.
