Cause of Texas fertilizer plant blast that killed up to 15 'suspicious:' source

A senior Obama administration official said a series of briefings overnight have produced concern the Texas blast could have been at least criminal in nature. Authorities are trying to contain their speculation for fear of causing a panic, but the official told The Post the cause of the blast is "suspicious."

Authorities suspect the blast was set off by a truck or rail car holding a large quantity of ammonia that somehow caught fire or blew up. Ammonia, under certain conditions, can become combustible or explosive.

"It's 50-50," the source said. "Some sort of explosion caused the ammonia truck/rail car to create a shockwave up to a half-mile away, destroying that little town."

We had an IED attack in Boston using bombs that are taught in Pakistani training camps. We had ricin mailed to the White House and the Senate, and Al Qaeda's Yemeni branch has been working on ricin. We had an explosion in this fertilizer plant. It doesn’t really benefit a terrorist group much when an explosion like this can be easily written off as an industrial accident— even if they did cause it. Plants like this aren’t really useful targets.

Hmmm is about all I can say whenever this administration says something. We are lied to so often that I automatically suspect that if they say something, the truth is the opposite. So, for instance, if they say they don’t want to tell the public something because they are afraid of creating panic, it seems like it could be a “tell” indicating that they ARE trying to create panic.

Somebody is trying to create panic, anyway. The JFK Library fire, Boston marathon bombing, 4 or 5 times of being told there would be a press conference and then it being conceled, bomb threats all over the country and including the place where the press conference was supposed to be, ricin letters sent before or shortly after the bombs, Google and cell phone tower (?) going out, explosion at this fertilizer plant... And before that the bomb attempt on Sheriff Joe...

I think everybody is going “What the heck?!” instead of panicking though.

We don’t know for sure, but it’s looking like the Boston bombing was Muslim terrorism, and it seems like the powers-that-be knew in advance and are working to stall and/or get the perps out of town before anybody knows who did it.

The ricin letters were a democratic activist who all of a sudden located some ricin.

The attempt at Sheriff Joe just about has to be either somebody disgruntled with his actions or somebody who disagrees with his policies so that would probably be a leftist and/or criminal.

I don’t know what the general public is thinking about this stuff. I know that for me, the regime has already shown us through Fast and Furious and Benghazi what they are capable of and how little they value either truth or innocent human life. They’ve thought that they could get away with it because of the media lapdogs, but all it means is that some of us have recognized we can’t trust what the media OR the regime says or does. Once you know a clock is broken you find other ways to tell the time. But it sure is easy to look at the clock and say, “If it says it’s 2:00 it must NOT be 2:00.”

Something is going on though, for there to be this much bizarre violence all at once. I hope they’re not preparing us for the big one. Obama said he thinks NK doesn’t have a nuke, so that could be setting the stage for something really bad...

SOMEBODY should be asking the regime how the heck it is essential to our national security that we give millions of dollars to aid Al Qaeda in Syria - the people who beheaded 8 people conducting a relief mission for Assad’s government, and grilled the decapitated heads. And how the heck it is essential to our national security that this Saudi student who had injuries different than everybody else and whose family is tightly woven into terrorism.... be deported because he’s innocent.
