Well, well, well I and a good number of fellow FReepers were taken to task yesterday for suggesting that there would soon be a move by government to restricted pressure cookers.
To: Kartographer
Only assault pressure cookers will be restricted.

I noticed immediately when the mediots started using the same language they use when talking about guns.
One of the talking heads on FOX asked “Who really needs these pressure cookers anyway?”

Are you kidding? Some freepers are so clueless that they don't know real people have and use pressure cookers.
After all, life as they know it on the east coast in the big city doesn't require a pressure cooker.

One thing bout Pittsburgh - people vote Democrat, but there are a lot of patriotic people here who care about their fellow Americans. I think we are going to have scares all over the country, thanks to the Obama Regime’s ineptitude.

Did the husband forget to ask that a background check be run on his wife before buying it for her?

We also had a LOT of suspicious package scares and anthrax scares, all non-threats of course, because of 9/11 etc. In a way I consider this a good sign, that people know abut Boston and want to help. I also blame Obama for the lousy handling of this so far.

An experiment: buy two pressure cookers. See what happens.

I’ve got a 22 quart pressure cooker that I don’t use (It was great grannies and is old enough to concern me) and a 16 quart cooker that I use to weaponize salsa in the fall.

Janet Napolitano will soon be announcing a ban on all church suppers. Turns out that high capacity pressure cookers are associated with these events.

You mean like this one?
With all the 'scray' black stuff on it?

An experiment: buy two pressure cookers. If I bought 2 more pressure cookers, I'd have to get a wife to help operate them and plumb in the gas for another stove, since the ones I have already take up 4 hobs.
Nope. Safer to starve than buy 2 more pressure cookers.
You have to think through the implications and after effects.
I ain't getting married again. I wouldn't mind having another stove though...
