Consumerist Details of what happened before American Flight 590′s scheduled departure late on Tuesday are sketchy. I might have to play cowboys and muslims in that situation.
Maybe someone here can find it
Now, is this a coincidence, or a money grab?
“What a coincidence after American grounded all their flights yesterday due to a “glitch””
I read a comment yesterday, about an article about the “glitch.” The commenter said he knew a baggage handler who told him there was an explosion in an American Airlines luggage area. Anybody else hear that?
“but the TSA did not get involved.”
Really? They musta been busy patting down crotches....
One would think Planes =Transportation=Transportation Safety Administration...
But I guess thats incorrect.
Had they been in Boston to ‘enjoy’ the patriots day ‘festivities’??
We are being lied to every day by government and its lapdog media. This is clearly a new Islamists’ offensive: the bombing in Boston, the ricin sent to Sen. Wicker, the Arabs shouting on airlines. We’ve all seen this before....even the media tells us none of this is connected, surely logical people don’t believe them.
Here’s the article, which only talks about the “glitch.”

Here’s the comment;
“this is not true, i don’t know if the government is asking AA to say this or if AA is perpetuating this lie. A flight into Boston this morning had an explosive device go off in the baggage area according to a flight attendant that i’m acquainted that was on that particular flight. there will be many things that will be presented to the media in the coming days i’d wager”
Under the circumstances, I would sanction dragging the perps off the plane and beating them to death on the runway.
Then again, this might be driven by the fact that the boy that was killed in the Marathon explosion lived less than half a mile from me.....
Yesterday I was trying to book a flight on American Airlines.com. Every time I would put my billing info in I would get an error comment. Must have happened 3 times. I called customer support and asked if I could book my flight by telephone and was told that there had been computer problems all day and she was unable to book flights by phone. We were on the phone for at least a half an hour and she finally got my flight booked. Usually the e ticket confirmation pops up in my email right away. After several hours I called back and was told it could take up to 24 hrs to get confirmation. I book flights on AA all the time and it never takes that long. There was definately a big problem with their computer system yesterday.
“an American Airlines flight was grounded after passengers complained about 6 men who were speaking Arabic”
Uh Yeh no kidding! I would have been kicking the exit door open.
They did not get involved because there were no children or elderly in wheel chairs involved! Since the incident was about six Iraqi men, that might be dangerous!
Jeez, now why would ANYONE be scared of people speaking ARABIC?? We must be xenophobes!! /s
Were they saying “Dirka Dirka Muhammad Jihad.”
flippin' cowards!
So the passengers arguing in Arabic weren’t told to shut the **** up and be quiet? They weren’t kicked off the plane for being disruptive? It was the “xenophobic” passengers’ “hysteria” that grounded the flight?
Right.
