The FBI’s lead investigator into the Boston Marathon bombings on Tuesday made a passionate plea for information from the public, saying the “range of suspects and motives remains wide open” as the probe into who might be responsible for the attacks begins. “Someone knows who did this,” said Richard DesLauriers, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Boston office. “Importantly, the person who did this is someone’s friend, neighbor, coworker or relative. We are asking anyone who may have heard someone speak about the marathon, or the date of April 15, in any way that indicated that he or she may have targeted this event to call us.”

And he ran. No kidding he ran....a lot of folks ran. Especially if you are on fire...it is a natural reaction to run.
I would LOVE for this kid to be the guy. It would allow us to wrap this thing up quickly. It would allow us to direct our anger somewhere.
Life doesn’t work that way.
The people across from where they were planted are critical because they were aimed in that direction.
It’s rather eerie how little information is being given out considering they want so much cooperation. My wife even commented that the news was lacking. It is similar to a shooting where the shooter is dead so they don’t need to go in that direction.
You’re probably right. Whistle blowers rely on part of the government to protect them when they come forward. And how risky is that with this regime and impotent Republican leadership.[Rhetorical]
Some on this and other threads obviously believe that even if the Saudi were implicated, the regime would call off the hounds.
I am a professional sports photographer.
I would lay down my camera bag in arenas (down on the floor, away from the public.) Most times, I would seek out the nearest policeman and explain who I was, and what was in the bag. I would invite them to examine it.
In the 11 years since 9-11, the number of police and security folks who either thanked me, examined the bag, or who even acknowledged me was ZERO.
We (myself and my peers) would have discussions about how vulnerable some of these large crowd, national championship type games (not D1, but DII and DIII—I covered 20 of them in the past ten years) are. You could literally walk into the celebration crowd with a bomb vest on and blow all of these kids to smithereens.
We watched the folks on the floor better than the police or security. They were more concerned about photographers getting into the TV shot than they were about terrorist.
Before Monday, all of these cops and security people could not conceive that it could happen here.
In a real world he and all his room mates and buddies will be on 24 hour surveillance.
I like to think that his stay in the hospital was to give time to set it up and obtain the phone tap warrants.
Inquiring minds wish to know how many of the 173 victims had burns on their hands.....?
I agree with your assessment. I was thinking more along the lines of they have been browbeat to be so politically correct that they can’t see the truth in front of them.

It makes them look equally bad. But yet we play right into their hands by showering the world with our awesome ideas and logic.
I was completely in the “Islamic attack” camp. It had all the makings of such. But I find it odd that no one is taking claim for it. Which is their usual MO.

There is always more than one. The lone gunman is inaccurate. One to drive. One to spot. One/two to pull it off. 4-5 man teams, one who carries ‘things’. Possibly a decoy.
Example: the eyewitness at the Sikh temple specifically said there were 4 people. We heard of only one.

More likely.......those who talk will end up dead, courtesy of infiltrators to our government. Along with all their families.
The problem is that we do not ACTUALLY know the truth. We cannot trust media or any part of the Administration anywhere anymore.
And we know it.
Do you not remember the Bin Laden brother teaching at Harvard who allowed himself to be on national TV after 9/11, smiling and telling OBL that “you have taken on the world’s superpower....and you are winning.” Then, the lot of the Bin Laden’s were gone. Poof.
If you look at the photos just released by the gov’t of the two suspects, please note in the profile pic of the one guy, he’s got a very mideastern semitic nose. No Mexican has a nose like that. Both suspects are dark haired, both are taller (most hispanic men aren’t that tall). Both look semitic. These are Arabs, my FRiends, IMO obviously so. I heard a couple of commentators on Fox saying Mexican as an example of who these guys might be, and I thought, no way, Jose (pardon the pun). Put your specs on Fox. No one wants to say these guys are Arab as it isn’t PC to do so. PC will be the death of us one day soon.
