The FBI’s lead investigator into the Boston Marathon bombings on Tuesday made a passionate plea for information from the public, saying the “range of suspects and motives remains wide open” as the probe into who might be responsible for the attacks begins. “Someone knows who did this,” said Richard DesLauriers, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Boston office. “Importantly, the person who did this is someone’s friend, neighbor, coworker or relative. We are asking anyone who may have heard someone speak about the marathon, or the date of April 15, in any way that indicated that he or she may have targeted this event to call us.”

Yeah, and the man who made a video that meant nothing concerning Benghazi is still in custody isn’t he?

While I am leaning towards "it was an Islamic attack" I am not convinced yet that is true. Could be home grown too, so it is probably best to take a watch an see approach.

If the attack was politically motivated, why has no group claimed credit? That question becomes more important the longer the silence continues.

"Do you take collect calls from Yemen?"

The only thing missing here is a tape from an Islamic terrorist group claiming responsibility. (Presuming, of course, that "news" organizations haven't already received a tape, and are declining to broadcast it or admit to having received it at the request of the administration.) The ball bearings and pressure cooker are an Islamic terrorist signature.

I doubt the person who did this has any American friends.

Osama Bin Laden, the Taliban and AlQueda denied involvement in 911 for months.

I was curious how long before Bin Laden confessed. I found this link; Did anyone take credit for 911?

The bottom line? Don't trust Muslims, they are at war with us and their Koran teaches them to lie. Don't trust Obama, he is a Muslim.

Yes that is my recollection as well, but all my friends and the media say AlQueda claims credit, so I was confused. I thought AlQueda never claimed credit. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

4. Never tell anyone what you are going to do or what you have done . . . If the Boston Bomber kept these rules, it can be pretty tough.

Fortunately, criminals and especially terrorists find this challenging. What is the point of murdering and maiming innocent people if you can't brag about it to your friends? I imagine the terrorist will talk.

FBI: aka ‘Forgeta Bout It’...”We have investigated this for a lot of hours now and we don’t have a clue so, as the last resort, we can only rely on your rumors...

...but if we happen to run across something someday, we’ll get right back atcha”

I am not that sure about the efficacy of CSI and intel gathering. While CSI and signal intelligence(SIGINT) is sophisticated, and getting even more so, the problem is that terrorism is an asymmetrical warfare stratagem where the foe uses what is available to them to work against a more powerful entity. This means that the terrorists will adopt measures that attempt to dilute, as far as they can, the effectiveness of intelligence gathering. Apparently this is one of the things that helped Osama hide for almost a decade ...eschewing cell phones, computers, etc and relying on 17th century type courier messages.

There is also the problem of information overload, when there is so much information coming in that it is difficult to filter information from that data ...that is until it is too late.

This is also one of the reasons the Israelis rely a lot on human intelligence since HUMINT is better capable of penetrating such groups.

With all that video surveillance, all those cops and all the pre- and post-bombing photos taken... and THIS is where they are with the investigation?

Or is it a case of, that's precisely what they want the perp to think?

Doesn't fit MO for a patriot group....innocent bystanders??.

But your “wait and see” is correct, we certainly not getting any “truth” from FBI.

Good point re burns on hands of Saudi. If he had been handling bomb when it went off he’d not only be missing hands he’d likely be dead; however, burns might indicate he was touched by the fireball; ergo, he was near the blast.

How can anybody look at what happened in both Fast and Furious and Benghazi and still think a person is crazy if they believe our government capable of false flag operations and cover-up?

I don’t understand people like you.

I do believe it’s possible the Obama regime may try to hide the Muzz origins of this atrocity. But it’s hard to believe a whistle blower would not come forward with the truth.

Well, you better start believing the hard to believe. Getting the truth from or out of this administration is harder than finding hen’s teeth. obama and the media have pretty much squelched the “whistle blowers”.

First step is to identify exactly where those bombs were when they exploded. What do the ballistics say? That would narrow down the search for video footage.

Then look for people who may have had their cameras on in those areas. Let the public know where the bombs were at so anybody there can sort out whether they’ve got video footage of that area.
