A series of Twitter gloats today raised questions about the possible involvement of Somali terror group Al-Shabaab in the Boston Marathon bombing.
No person or group has yet directly taken responsibility for the attack that killed three and wounded 176, 17 of those critically. The FBI issued a be-on-the-lookout for a dark-skinned or black man in dark clothes, perhaps with a foreign accent, who tried to enter a restricted area moments before the first blast. Authorities were also questioning a Saudi national here on a student visa and searched an apartment in Revere, Mass., last night.
Terror groups have shown a fondness for Twitter in recent years, and last night al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab posted three tweets around 2 a.m. Eastern time:

In the Third World, pressure cookers are not electric, they get heated by being put on top of a range, or on a fire. The purpose of the cooker is to serve as a bomb casing.
There was some toning down of the Saudi connection early on that raised my suspicion.
As I said on an earlier thread, I’ll feel better when we have a president that doesn’t hold hands with, or bow to, a Saudi king.
Israel Independence Day started at sundown (7:30pm). Israel time is 7 hours ahead, so by Jerusalem time, it was a couple of hours into Israel Independence Day when the bombs went off.

No drilling, welding whatever. Just fill, run wire in, put detonator in, and timer out.

Dogs need to be able to smell the explosive. If the explosive is placed into a sealed, air-tight container (like a pressure cooker), there would be no smell for the dog to detect.

Of course he was. (That doesn't mean he didn't do it). oboma is really, really good friends with the Saudis. In fact, those who saw him around said it was the Saudis who paid for him to go to Harvard as a foreign exchange student (but we're not suppose to know that, so he sealed his official records).
And I tell you what: Israeli Independence day was the day after.
It is easier and quicker to use a pressure cooker than to manufacture a pipe bomb.

Like Bengazi, I don't think we'll ever know. I believe it was a foreign attack, and that would make oboma look bad (especially if the guy was Saudi, because oboma gave them all a free pass to the U.S.).
So we'll never really know who did it. They'll dig up someone from somewhere who can't defend himself, convict him, and that will be the "official" story.
There are probably millions of stove-top pressure cookers around. They are still being made, if I'm not mistaken.
Who knows why is happened, but it doesn’t seem likely that this would be tax/anti-government terrorism. People like that (Timothy McVey, for instance) seem to focus on government targets. Why target innocent civilians with such a clear anti-personnel weapon if you are mad at the government? Maybe this is a wacko, so trying to glean logic from the mind of a crazy person is pointless, but my gut tends to rule out anti-government groups/individuals.
Just saw one at Walmart recently, kinda spendy, plus its becoming a lost art pressure cooking. As far as a bomb casing it makes near perfect sense, you can seal it up, run any det wires through the pressure relief port, seal with silicone and then spray the exterior with a sanitizer.
Its just a casing, not a cooker, also a crude slow burning powder can be used. I work with high pressure hydraulics and have seen the destructive force upon a cylinder with just 200psi.
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking as well, but this is one hell of coincidence. Tax day? And in Boston? Yeah blowing up people in a race doesn’t make sense though..If he was trying to protest tax like the Boston tea party, why not blow up a ship or something? I hope they skin this prick alive either way, but thanks to liberals the most he will get is life with food, shelter, clothing, health and dental, Tv, college education. Makes me sick.
First of all, those aren’t all “drills”, some of them are simply training courses. For example, the one you link to for Sandy Hook. If you just click around the calendar, you’ll see that course is offered on multiple dates on that month, with other courses on other dates. There are 6 courses listed on weekdays for that month, so there was basically a 30% chance that any day Adam Lanza picked to attack, it would be a day that EMS was holding a training course. That is not extraordinarily coincidental, just a run of the mill coincidence.
